Thank you, Sir.

Felicity 03-09-2007 02:10 PM

I already saw the Sat. PM video. That was great, but I've heard the next two messages were even better.

Papabear 03-09-2007 02:13 PM

The little boy in the side of the video is Becky and I's oldest boy.

He has a very cool picture blog.

Bro. Coonskinner,

I listened to your sermon and thought you spoke very eloquently and knowledgeably. I would also like to hear your message on "The Price of an Unfulfilled Ministry", I bet it is also very good.

I think you should be careful not to short-change yourself...you mentioned that you were not a good enough speaker to be an Evangelist therefore you became a Pastor...I think you would be good at both, and your church blessed to have you.

Respectfully, Rhoni

Rhoni,

It is very gracious of you to say such kind things, in light of the fact that you and I haven't always seen eye to eye, and have butted heads more than a little.

Thank you for the compliments.

Well, I call them like I see them...I am sure you are aware of this fact:highfive Besides, it takes a much better Preacher to Pastor...Evangelists can recycle the same few messages over and over but Pastors have to dig in deep to feed the sheep that God has put in their pasture!

You are welcome by the way. We can agree to disagree on things and it makes the things we agree on much sweeter!

Blessings, Rhoni

Can't get it to come up but will try when I get home...

I was truly blessed by Pastor Carroll's message "A Place to Sing" ...

CS, this is one my favorite stories in the bible. That was some Apostolic preaching ... Coon!!!!

Thank you for reminding me that God's grace can take an undeserving Gomer to the Valley Achor, a place of shame, and transform into to a door of hope filled with songs of praise for our Redeemer.

Bro Carroll, what awesome teaching! I just finished the first part and enjoyed it thouroughly.
Some statements jumped out at me.

Our Spiritual DNA and what God does to it when we are born again.
Our annointing will takes us places, our Character (lack thereof) won't keep us.

The Gutters of the straight and narrow are littered with the carcasses of gifted and annointed men of God.

It is a beautiful Church building that Bro Phillips has. It looks like he has the same sound system that we do.

Look forward to part two.

It is speaking to me.

The Lord Bless you richly.

Ron

It was a really good weekend. Coonskinner out done himself.

He went on the Radio with me on Saturday Morning, preached saturday night, taught the lesson Sunday Morning, Preached Sunday Morning and then again on Sunday Night. So Five times of Ministry in two days.

Ron,

Thank you for the kind words.

I would rather preach than eat when I'm hungry, but I also love to teach, and don't typically get as many opportunities to teach away from home as preach.

I hope you found some of it useful.

Ditto!

LaVonne 03-10-2007 08:39 AM

When I can, I'm going to listen to these messages!

chosenbyone 03-10-2007 09:12 AM

I couldn't believe it was you, brother. You are quite the character here on AFF and I had a hard time at first believing it was the "Coonskinner".

You did an excellent job. Keep preaching the word of God.

LOL...What exactly surprised you?

What a lot of people don't seem to grasp is that what I post on this forum is really about ideas more than people.

I honestly don't takei it personally whatever people say most of the time.

You need counselling.

mizpeh 03-10-2007 09:20 AM

Bro Coonskinner,

I liked your teaching on 1 Timothy.

When I first read your posts I use to think you had a lot of common sense, then I realized you were wise as well and now I know why. Reading from the book of Proverbs everyday will do that to a Spirit-filled person.

God bless you...
