PastorD 01-01-2008 08:26 PM

This is certainly one of PastorD's peeves as well.

HeavenlyOne 01-01-2008 08:33 PM

Didn't Jesus do that?

Cindy 01-01-2008 08:34 PM

Yes, but all those voices in your head can't be wrong.

Does Heavenly One have a scripture that proves otherwise?

Ronzo 01-01-2008 08:36 PM

Ronzo doesn't understand the question. What is it that you are asking of Ronzo? Please explain it to Ronzo.

retsambeW 01-01-2008 08:37 PM

Mike Flemming never talks to himself.

No wait....I am wrong about that, let me check with myself.

Oh, now Mike Flemming understands. I never ANSWER myself!

HO has several. Jesus spoke about God, the Father, the Comforter, etc.......even though He was one and the same. :D

After a night at work like I had last night, this thread is just too tame for me.

Are you saying Jesus was a madman?

For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

Maybe Thad and divine where it came from and provide us the story behind it.

No.

But it might be a sign of mania if the Third Person talks back to you. :bubble

RevDWW 01-01-2008 10:00 PM

RevDWW wouldn't think so.

Timmy 01-02-2008 08:52 AM

We do not refer to ourselves in the third person. We prefer the first person plural.

rgcraig 01-02-2008 08:55 AM

That's why I have a puppy!

I can talk to her.

Ferd 01-02-2008 08:56 AM

It depends on who you are.

If you are me, you should from time to time speak of yourself in the thrid person. others are not so important.

ROFL!

Didn't you see the hair on my son????

The kid needs a haircut badly but doesn't want to get one until March. By that time, he will be beyond having a regular cut and will probably burn out clippers that will be used (he's done that before because his hair is so thick and curly) and the bill might be quite high! LOL!

But alas, it's just a joke about the donations part.....;)

You got it! LOL!

He's 16 and told me his hair is who he is and loves it that way. He wears it that way to church also.......thus the nickname (even called from the pulpit) Poofy.

That boy always gets special attention for his do!

He thinks that by cutting it, he will be trimming his image, and he doesn't want to do that. I told him that 2" is good enough to retain his image. He disagrees.

What's a mom to do?

Well, it's only hair. If it were straight, it might be considered long (still could be, as it's uncut....LOL), but for now, he gets to keep it.

I would hold him down and shave the little bugger.

I figured his nickname was Napoleon, as in Napoleon Dynamite.

Ronzo 01-02-2008 01:15 PM

I was off the forum for 12 days and it feels like two months. You never know what you're gonna miss around here when you're gone. :penguin

Tamor could probably tell him, but she'll let him figure it out himself.
