I better be careful, Thad thinks lol is short for lollypop.

drummerboy_dave 01-02-2008 03:16 PM

Sadly, I again can't vote. My favorite subject was skipping. Or cutting class, as it is known to some.

All the way through highschool, I'd have to vote languages. English and Spanish.

College? By far, math.

The great thinkers like math.

I never liked math.

What's that tell you?

I can understand Greek and Hebrew, but math (not basic stuff) kills me.

Algebra is useless to me.

Nahum 01-02-2008 03:21 PM

Okay, who's the wiseacre who chose psychology? :jolly

Neck 01-02-2008 03:24 PM

History
Math
Science
English

RevBuddy 01-02-2008 03:24 PM

World history, especially English History and Literature...

I absolutely HATED math all the way through highschool. I struggled like nothing else. I dreaded it when I started college again, I couldn't even test into college algebra, I had to start back a few classes at "math for stupid people". lol I worked my tail off and about half way through my second semester, it all clicked. I've decided I like it now. This is a good thing, engineering pays better than finance! lol And I'm more likely, as a woman, to get a nearly free education in engineering.

Mrs. LPW 01-02-2008 03:26 PM

English.. I made 100% in grade 12.

You're a woman?!

Well, I never!

Basic math was no problem for me. It was the algebra and the junk after it that slayed me.

I did too! And I loved the timed tests that most kids hated.

English was my favorite, along with Reading and Spelling.

I know. Oh the shame of it all.

I dropped out 2 years later too. I can't decide which is more shameful. Teachers weren't too happy when I quit...I guess A honor roll students don't do that very often? :jolly

Apprehended 01-02-2008 03:38 PM

Girls.

But I didn't see the choice on the poll.

That's what my grades looked like. lol Always counted on English to pull up the average cuz math sure wasn't going to help any.

Apprehended 01-02-2008 03:44 PM

When I got an "F"I thought that meant "forgiven."

Esther 01-02-2008 06:14 PM

English
History

PE was not a subject it was fun time!

Margies3 01-02-2008 06:18 PM

Art was my favorite.

In fact, art was the only reason I saw for even attending school.

Band was good. I liked band ok.

and I loved English. Seriously loved it! But art was still tops.

And Math. I won contests in Math at the regional level. Never made it as far as state. But I did make it out of the school :)

But I HATED science!!! Absolutely hated it. Why, oh why, was science required anyway?

Ohio History was good. American History was good. World History stunk.

BoredOutOfMyMind 01-02-2008 06:41 PM

My favorites are not listed.

I enjoyed

Lunch

~and~ Recess!

History was my favorite subject. Math was second favorite.

I don't like to play games, I quit school because they had recess.

Then you must have done very well in school. "Seeing girls" was a major distraction for me.

ManOfWord 01-02-2008 07:24 PM

Cindy 01-02-2008 07:44 PM

Thay had shopping at y'alls schools?

Felicity 01-02-2008 07:45 PM

My favorite subjects were definitely English (including grammar) and History. I loved Home Ec (cooking & sewing) I also was hugely interested in Psychology in High School.

Math is definitely my weakness, but Algebra was one of the things I "got" and could do well. My theory the reason that I could do Algebra is because it had to do with letters rather than numbers. :thumbsup
