Is anyone going?

Is anyone upset over the schedule?

Last Years Discussion was lively and had some detours.

Looks greatly toned down.

My parents are going, I don't qualify, something about not being a preacher...

I think they are prejudiced against non-preachers! LOL! JK!

Yea I know huh?!? Well I am a preachers wife but I dont count this year :( My husband will be at work... I could go but how much fun is it to go alone?!?!? NOTTTTTTT

Why would anyone be upset over the schedule?

Looks like the same bunch as always for the most part...it should be another good BOTT....

Yeah, you couldn't even take someone else with you, unless they were a preacher, Hey we should start a riot or something!! Picket! LOL! :happydance

LOL Yea I know... I can see it now... Oh wait no no no... I used to go to church there...... oh Lord.... I better be nice! I could get in much trouble! LOL

And we worked at another church right down the road... oh yes it would be lovely I can see it now.. You go picket I will sit in your car how is that?

That would be about 6-4 yrs ago we attended there for our Sun evening services as we didnt have night service at our church and we worked in Bunkie. About 26 miles down the road...

Oh, well I never heard of that town, but there are like a million little towns in LA, aren't there? A old friend of mine works at POA, I thought you might know her or her family.

Yea well I know plenty of others there but the problem is... well have you ever been to BOTT? Know how odd it would look a single woman sitting there? Its not real common. They usually are wit their preacher husbands or well... the husbands with the preacher wives LOL... I aint no preacher! :(

I wouldn't say excited. But I do like BOTT.

I guess I'l miss BOTT this year.

My hubby is there.....*sniff,sniff* maybe someday when I am not tied to a full time job outside the home I will get to go with him. I have watched all the DVD's of the past 2 years and I would LOVE to go.

But, will BOTT miss you?

20 years - has it been that long? No wonder I'm feeling so old. I was at the first BOTT. There was only about 3-400 preachers that year but it sure grew fast after that. That was the first time I heard Jeff Arnold preach. I remember everyone singing "Send Down the rain Lord". Makes me want to shout now just thinking about it.

I have discovered that is the danger of all conferences. You have one or two successful conferences and they think only "this group" can make it happen.

I quit going to a number of women conferences after the same thing. Sometimes an individual can bring it every year, like Vesta Mangun, but not everyone can.

I was sitting by my friend and Karen Harding at General Conference this past year. At the end of Mark Johnston's message I told them...how much you wanna bet he preaches at BOTT next year.

I hear he has a dynamic home missions work.

As far as the schedule.....the overall "tone" looks the same.

Is BOTT going to be webcast live for the unwashed masses who don't qualify to be there in person?

Only at MY church, hehehe!

We are in Atlantic time so service starts at 9:30!!!!!!!!:ouch
