Michael and I made it in to the states... Thanks so much for everyone's prayers...I will post later on tonight or tomorrow...

Notice he crossed the highway and hit the bridge going the wrong way...

I'm thankful that bridge had a sturdy guardrail!

How did it happen?

He went to sleep driving...is what he said...He said one minute he was signing and the next minute this happened. I am wondering if his blood pressure may have went sky high and he black out. He was trying so hard to raise money for the church in south Brazil we are building and for our kids in the jungle..I He left Brazil exhausted and hit the road here traveling...
We are not as young as we used to be...

Just for you to see some of the brusies...all over his legs, stomach, arms...

Thank you folks for praying. Brother Alvears whole left leg is very swollen.

Another thing Please continue to pray for Brother Troy. He is now out of the hospital but still needs our prayers.

I had to take Brother Alvear back to the doctor yesterday and back again today. It will take time for both of them to heal the impact was so hard. We know ALL things work together for the good...so God has something good in store.

He has a lot of bumps and knots...

Thank the Lord for protection!! He looks like that leg is really hurting though; we'll continue to pray for him.

Lots of pictures but most I cannot put on a public forum. His stomach is all blue. We are so blessed he is alive.

I did not know if I should come or not so much cost was involved but I am glad I did he has cried and cried.
He is having a hard time knowing that he hurt his friend. I know now that I did the right thing. I am always worried that I might spend God's money on some selfish desire.

Sis. Alvear you are exactly where God would want you to be, with your husband. He needs you right now. Sis. Miller and I are praying for yall.

Well, as you saw in a few of the pictures posted here....he is black and blue and swollen. Had to take him yesterday and today to the doctor. He is in a lot of pain...Please keep him in your prayers. Thanks

Still praying for you guys. You did the right thing, Sis Alvear. Your husband needs you right now.

My husband is still off work and is not recovering as quickly as he thinks he should, so I know firsthand right now how much Bro Alvear needs your support. Just being here with him will help him recover emotionally.

The airbag hit him in the mouth and causeda cyst or something behind one of his front teeth and that is really paining him. I took him to a dentist and he did all kinds of x rays. He thinks he will have to have a small surgery but we are trying anti biotics first.
His back is really bothering him and his legs but I know some things will just take time. I really do appreciate your alls prayers. Everyone has been so kind to us and we are so grateful for friends. I feel so close to many of you. Thank you for caring!

I have been blessed by people calling and e mailing. It is so encouraging to know we are not alone and people do care and people do pray.

My husband was teasing me today about as he calls it "YOUR RARE Assortment of friends..." and I love them all! And guess what? Brother Alvear loves me for being like I am!

He didn't break anything with those bruises? That's a miracle right there.

I'm not offended at pics because I see that and more all the time.....LOL!

Anyway, looks like a nasty cut on his knee also. Is he diabetic?

Brother Alvear does not know I put the last two pictures on here but I thought you all ought to see...after all we happen to live in an adult world....his stomach has buises and so does his back...

Brother Alvear is more a private person than I am I am very open...

It could have been so much worse. I am thankful that God spared him, and I am so glad that you were able to come to the states to be with him. He needed you here.
