One Accord's Wife Passed Away 2/6 at 1:07 a.m.

I have had One Accord & his wife's situation on my heart. The situation is serious & needs God's Divine Intervention one way or the other.

I have appreciated his kind spirit & great attitude especially over the situation they now face.

That being said, I wonder if we can all come in agreement in prayer tomorrow by bringing this important need before our respective Church's either by asking your Pastor, or if you are a Pastor to have thier first name's called out (does anyone know their first names?) & see what God can do.

Psa 133:1 A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Psa 133:2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
Psa 133:3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.

When we are in unity, God can command his blessing there!

Mat 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Mat 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Jam 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

These are just a few scriptures.
I do not know what God's answer is, or what he will do.
I only know that we have an opportunity to go before his throne of Grace for this couple who are facing so much.

Will you stand in the gap with your Church tomorrow?

I know I handle prayer requests & a lot of the altar, so in Vancouver we will!

If it's on your heart it could be that the Lord wants you to pray through until victory comes. Maybe what the Lord wants to do in this case can happen through you.

Re: Power In Agreement-One Accord's Situation

Its about 12 midnite here in Alabama and this is the first time I have been able to visit today. Then I see this. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for your prayers. You don't know what it means to have your prayers- especially now. To think there are people praying all around the US- and in different countries praying for us. Bro. Ron, my Canadian brother- there is a reason Lola has been on your heart.

At about 3:am on Saturday, Lola woke up and... well I thought the time had come. All day today, it has been like every breath would be her last. At about 4:30 this morning, she was crying and whispered " I don't want to go...but Mother is calling me". I thought surely, this was her time. But, somehow, and I truly believe prayer is why- she is still with us. She's asleep now and I don't know what tomorrow may bring- but whatever it is- I rest in the faithfulness of our Lord. I sat with her all day, singing to her- reassuring her that Jesus is waiting there for her.I sang- What a day that we be, when our Jesus we sahll see, and we look upon His Face, the One who saved us by His grace, and He takes me by the hand, and leads us to the Promised Land, what a day, that will be.

Thats our hope. Thats our faith. So, thank you all for your prayers, and know this- once all this is over- if I can ever be a blessing to you - any of you- in anyway- please call on me. Thank you gain for your prayers. Your prayers has given us one more day together.

For those who wish to call us by name- just tell Him "Rick and Lola". He'll know.

Re: Power In Agreement-One Accord's Situation

Bro. Rick,

Your last post reminded me so much of when my dear mother crossed over.

She had lingered with us, with the doctor and nurses not understanding how

she could have remained for the additional 11 days. Exactly the amount of

time for her one son who was not there to get back from Israel. He got to the

hospital, although she had not showed any sign of life for three days, He kissed

her, telling her it was John, went and got a shower and joined we other ten siblings.

That evening, with her large family gathered in and around her room and bedside, we

softly sang "Glad Reunion Day" and other songs. So peaceful and around midnight when

most of her family, except two sons and wives and a granddaughter who were staying

the night, she slipped away. She had been talking to Dad several days before, who had

been gone for ten years. A lady who dispensed their meds in the evening, reported her

saying, "Daddy,(that what she called my dad) I can barely see you in here, the light is

SO bright. (The room was dark except for one small night light.)

"For it is written, Eye had not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the

heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But

God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit; yea, the Spirit searcheth all things,

yea, the deep things of God'. (I Cor. 2:9,10)

He will finish it up in Righteousness, Bro. Rick and Sis. Lola! There will be a "Glad

Reunion Day"!

for those

that love His appearing".

Things are a little better today. She is consciuous, but barely. Ate a little gravy. Is talking some. Hard to understand and hear, but her eyesight is better. Knows everyone. I slept 3 hrs again last night. Am so thankful she is still with us with little or no pain. And am grateful for your prayers and for our Lord who hears and answers.

Sorry that I am just now seeing your posts here, 1A...I need to look up more often.

Glad that things are better today...the One who sees and knows all is there with you and Lola through it all.

Thanks everyone for praying. She is all but gone. Still breathing, but unresponsive now. I was able to talk with her for a minute this morning. Her last words to me was, "I love you, Baby". Nurse came in...most likely will be gone before days in. But, I've been saying that for 3 days now. She has the will to live... Please pray that her passing will be easy.

Oh, Rick I know this has to be just awful for you. I'm scared to open your post when I see you've posted.

However, we are still praying for you and Lola and I pray too that she just goes to sleep and passes on to a place where she will be whole again.

This need has been on my heart as well.... and I never knew the names -- but God knew.....

In yesterday's service, Bro Winslow asked everyone there to make a list of the first names of those we knew needed something from God-- and to list their need beside their name. He asked us to bring these lists back to tonight's service. I'm adding the names to my list now...

Brother, if I knew the mind of Christ right now, I'd pray that way. For whatever reason, He has chosen not to reveal what He will do in the next minute. But, whatever He chooses, it is good. So, if you have nothing to say that will reveal His will, just pray, if you will. Thank you.

Yeah, Renda, the whole family is here. Thats the only way I can get away to visit with my AFF friends. I have to get away for a minute or so, cause it gets to me using all her energy just to take a breath. And. to all: I'm sorry for bringiing you down with all this. I guess I shouldn't post anymore til shes gone. It just helps to have someone to "talk" to that are Christians.

No, Rick please don't feel that way - - I just wish I was close enough to be there with you guys.

I just wanted to make sure you had family around you. You talk to us as much and as long as you need to. This is one part of AFF that I love - - the family close feeling that we share one another's burdens!

We're here for you, not only in prayers, but to listen.

Talking is therapeutic. I hate to bring "medical' words into a personal situation, but you need this, and so does your family. We are also your family here. I only wish I could be there in person. Your situation is tearing me up being so far away.

It won't be long now and she'll be in the physical presence of God. Don't be jealous ;) but she'll be waiting for you to join her when it's your time.

No more suffering, my brother. That smile that you love is still on her face.

My prayers of strength and comfort are with you and your family.

And I love you.
