Candle Scents - Your favorites?

I need to come up with three new scents and I need help.

What are your favorites?

Thank you!

I don't know how to spell it but I always liked Pachuli.

There was a combo I smelled the other day Rose/pear. Smelled good.

How about dirty laundry.............or gym socks.

I walked in the office at church today and suddenly was craving oatmeal cookies. Our secretary was burning a candle that smelled exactly like homemade oatmeal cookies and I was SOOOOOOOOOO ready for one!

I sell my painted furniture and candles in my daughter's boutique.

I am getting out of the fall season and needing to replace three scents that I don't want to carry anymore.

I have a very expensive Patchouli that I can't carry because I will have to pass the cost on to the customers. I'm not a big fan of Patch, but the one I have has an orange element in it, and I love anything with orange.

I also just test poured a Raspberry Patchouli. Didn't really care for it.

Mainly, Patchouli reminds me of Grand Funk Railroad and the 60's. lol Not going there. lol

That is a good candle scent. I just don't like to smell food scents in a candle, but I know people like them. You know, I might consider this one, Sherri. Thanks.

I love anything cinnamon.

Walt looks for Christmas Tree scented candles at holiday time.

By the way, if you really want to get alot of use out of your candles, get a small crockpot. The smallest you can find. Then turn it on and put a votive candle in it and let it go. At night, you turn the crockpot off and let the wax cool down. Then turn it on the next day and use the same candle again. If you have good candles, you can get 5-7 days out of one votive. We have a place here called Swan Creek Candle Company. I only buy their candles. They last longer and smell stronger than most any other I've ever found (except the amaretto one I got from my friend here. I won't name names cuz then everyone will want one. But that amaretto was wonderful!!!)

Oh ya - and CLOVES!! I LOVE cloves!

I haven't seen a supplier with that particular name. Both of those sound great together. I'm thinking it would only go over during the winter. I'll check it out. THanks Tamor!

Sounds like a wool sweater on a hunky man smell!

Yes, I did know that - - some women actually WEAR vanilla behind their ears. I would not be one of them. I'd be wanting to make cookies all day if I smelled that.

Mrs. LPW. I carry then exclusively in my daughter's store. I don't sell them on-line. My 8 oz is $7.95 and my 16 oz is $12.95.

Anyway, just a note - I'm not trying to sell candles here! I don't ship them. If the wicks get off center they are dangerous and I don't want to worry about that. Just for the record! lol

No, honey, it's a man's smell without the sweater!

I have vanilla candles in every room! Just kidding!!! Actually, I don't care for vanilla myself and neither does my husband.

Re: Candle Scents - Your favorites?

Yes!!.....once the wax melts, I remove the wick so the metal piece will not make the candle jar crack...... the candle that I have burning right now, I put in on every morning at 8:00 and turn it off when I leave at 4:00.....everyday.......the candle has not lost any wax and it smells as if I just started burning it...... I get a lot of compliments here at work......and my candle last a very long time.... I hope this helps....

Find one, Sherri!!!! Oh my goodness. I could smell it all day. I also have Green Irish Tweed, which the House of Creed came up with for Cary Grant. Too expensive to carry, but I have it for myself. Love it!!!
