What Can We Agree On ?
 

Ok I know on a forum like this ,there are many areas of debate and disagreement. But I also believe there are somethings we can be in agreement on.
I'll start this off.
I think we all agree that without the shedding of blood,there is no forgiveness of sin.
I believe we can all agree with the virgin birth of Jesus Christ.
We can agree that the Holy Spirit is needed for personal regeneration.
I think we all can agree that divine healing is today.
I think we can all agree that believers need to baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Ok these are just a few things,I think we all can agree with.
It's your turn now what things do you think the membership of AFF can be in agreement with ?

I can make biscuits but I can't make gravy. My husband makes the best gravy. I can't make pies from scratch though. I want to learn how to make hot water corn bread.

Actually, ( gotta quit talkin' food, I'm HUNGRY), getting back to the thread, if we stop "jockeying for position" in trying to assert our "correctness" on everything (including the difference in BISQUITS and BISCUITS) I think we would find we have very much that we can agree on. I don't think the very premise of our doctrinal stands are all that different. Its when we try to explain, expound and exhort our view of an issue that clouds things up. We're too "picky". We think everything should be explained like we would explain it. Its like a trinitarian explaining his view of the Godhead. If we'd just listen with no pre-concieved notions, we'd find that, in some cases (NOTE : Some cases), his view isn't terribly different from our own (and I repeat "SOME CASES".

Apostolics have much more to agree on than they sometimes realize.
