Dale Starks

Does anyone remember Dale R. Starks? He wrote the History of the Church of Jesus Christ, The Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ and Revival Today?
In Revival Today?, he wrote: "If we want to see the glory of God fill the house of the Lord, if we want to experience an outpouring of the Holy Ghost that will continue on and on- there must be love and unity among the members of the Body of Christ."

I believe he passed away, I just can't remember when.

Yeah that's the same guy. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. I didn't realize he'd gone on to be with the Lord.

I spoke to him once just before his passing. Had a really good spirit. Really knowdgeable in all things Pentecostal.

Dale Starks was one on my mentors. He was probably one of the most sincere Christians I have ever met. He passed away in December of 1999. One of the last things that he told me before he died was"Brian I had a rough day today and the Lord impressed me to ask Him for forgiveness for all the times that judged people before their time." He then went on to tell me that he was talking about people who did not exactly believe like we do.

He was in Germany and then went to be a missonary in Singapore and Malaysia. He spent the last years of his life in Alexandria, LA. His wife still lives there.

If anyone wnats to visit his site (still run by his wife although not much has changed on it since his passing). Here it is http://s-g-m.net/

Yeah he has a son that I think still lives in Dallas. He was adopted by the Starks. His name is John. He is a nice and timid guy.

No problem, it is good hearing about all he has done, and the effect on people he had.

Dale Starks was a personal friend of ours. We were missionaries in HK while they were in Malaysia. My husband preached the Malaysia/Singapore campmeeting 3 years in a row for him - stayed in their home .... and they also visited our work and stayed in our home in HK.

Wonderful, totally consecrated, sold out and inspiring workers and missionaries. It's still hard to believe he's gone.
