Books To Recomend
I bought another Gene Edwards book today and it is almost finished!
I already read "A Tale Of Three Kings" & "The Prisoner In The Third Cell" Both are great books & worth the read. I picked up "Exquisite Agony" it is about what to do & how to handle it when hurt by none other but another Christian!" By the first couple of pages I had tears in my eyers & by the 9th chapter I was bawling. It speaks to your heart! Even if you haven't been hurt, it will still bless you! I highly recommend it! Any books you would recommend? |
Re: Books To Recomend
Have you read the Bait of Satan by John Bevere ( I think that is his last name).

Re: Books To Recomend
I just packed 27 very large boxes with books just in my library!
Most I have read. I have about maybe one box to read yet. I have given many books away that I have read. I love to read, and write. :):friend |

Another book is "in the counsel of many!"
If you don't have it--get it!! |

I recommend "Climb The Highest Mountain" by Gene Edwards. [also titled "Our Mission"] Right up there with "Tale of Three Kings" but a larger more intense book. Raven |

The movers come on the 22nd. We go tomorrow to paint and clean the "new" house. New to us. :) And treat the yard for ants so my baby can run in her new huge back yard.:bliss |

"The Importance of Being Foolish" by Brennan Manning is really good.

Re: Books To Recomend
I think Edwards wrote a book called something "Romance" that ministered to a friend of mine. I never finished reading it and can't remember the entire title.

Fire? I hear they are nasty! The Tabernacle is my favourite subject in any Home Bible Study. It so illustrates the Salvation Plan of God! |

He did show me something very incredible and I am really excited about. But I need a whole lot more. So put me on your prayer list for the revelations to come. :) |

I saw a bumper sticker once that said, "I'm a fool for Christ. Whose fool are you?" I want to speak on that in the future and use it as a title for my message. |

Re: Books To Recomend
Anything by John Bevere! We are studying his new book "Honor's Reward" now with a small group of young couples in our home. "Bait of Satan" is also excellent! "Undercover" is a great book too, and his video series is even better!
A great Christian novel is "Redeeming Love". It has ministered to so many hurting women; I think I've read it about six or seven times and given it to lots of ladies. |

My husband has these... I have read parts of the Bait of Satan, I didn't have time to finish it when I picked it up... and haven't had time to get back to it... suppose I could be reading it now. :) I recommend "Hinds Feet on High Places" Hannah Hurnard. I've heard she has some doctrinal issues, but the allegory itself is very good and has meant something to me at different times in my life. |
