Ice cream festival

Today was an awesome day for our young people they conducte and ice cream festival to raise money to help buy their uniforms for our May convention...they had lots of fun and afterwards played games and some went swimming...
And tonight many og them went to a housemeeting to help with the service.
It is so wonderful to see young people happy serving God.

Sis Alvear, I just want to say thank you so much for what you are doing for God in Brazil, I am always encouraged to hear the good things God is doing in Brazil.

I have never seen you post negative.

Thank you.

we try to keep our people working to help them in time become self supporting. Today one of our churches has a little bazar on the street selling used things to help them buy things for our upcoming convention.
Tonight we are dedicating a new church in one of the villages of our town.

(need a smiley eating an ice cream cone right about now)

Did the youth get to eat any of the ice cream they were selling? I know I would be willing to go help at a service if I had gotten some ice cream too. You know the whole world would be a better place if everyone would sit down with an 'enemy' and share some ice cream. How can you be mad at someone or not like them if you are sharing ice cream with them?

off the subject of Ice Cream. How are you related to Bro Jonathan Alvear. His father was Bro Juan Alvear. Doesn't he have a sister that is married to one of Bro Spell's sons?

Is the picture of you and your husband? Bro Jonathan favors him. I loved it when Bro Juan came to our church or to Ohio Camp to preach. I remember him staying at our house when he would come to preach for us. Always that he was a wonderful man. Bro Jonathan and his wife preached a revival for us when Gabriel was little. He did an awesome job. Was there for 2 or 3 weeks. I was a teen and had thought that his wife was one of the most beautiful woman in all of Pentecost. I remember hearing her talking about her legs on time to my sister-in-law and me telling her I thought she had very nice legs. She hugged me and kissed my check and just about made my year. Then I found out about the accident that had burned legs so badly.

I have always thought highly of your husbands family because of Bro Juan and Bro Jonathan.

God Bless you all and the work you do.
