2008 IBC Music Fest
I see the IBC Music Fest begins tonight.

My godbrother will be there tomorrow night...his daughter is in the chorale. From there they are headed to CA for some music deal, in Stockton, I think...

Re: 2008 IBC Music Fest
I'm not gonna be at it, but last night we had a Godplace forum get together of people from IN, FL, MS, NY, NC, IL, OR, and TX that were either here for MusicFest, or here to visit those here for MusicFest...it was cool. lol

Re: 2008 IBC Music Fest
The power of God was in there so strong tonight. Of course, throughout most of the concert, it was more like a show, but when the choir got up, God really started moving. They sang a song from their new CD about the name of Jesus, and Calvary Tab really just exploded in worship. I got such a great blessing tonight. :yahoo

Re: 2008 IBC Music Fest
Any over-done choreographed interpretive praise dancing tonight? I mean songs that have been presented by a sign language team so the thousands of deaf saints at the music-fest could take part in worship.

"Choreographed" is a complaint among many sour-pusses who refuse to admit that anything short of a spasmodic, sphincter venting tantrum is "choreographed." "Interpretive praise dancing" glorifies God; unless you're one of the above sour-pusses who insist that either the saints tear the pews out of the floor anchors or that they just sit still. And you don't have to be "deaf" to appreciate being in a place where God is reverenced and honored. In fact, you sound like you could use just such an environment. Why do some "Pentecostals" seem to require pagan tribal elements with their worship but denigrade anyone who shows a little class and respect toward the House of God? |

Been real busy, and wearing thin; like butter spread over too much bread.

Re: 2008 IBC Music Fest
In these changing times...don't let the world change your mind...kinda annoying if you ask me. How is Jesus glorified in that?
