I am wondering if the Tomatoes are too risque and need a new avatar.

Big Billy is a largemouth bass. This one is a smallmouth.

Carp's av doesn't bother me. There have been a few that freaked me out. Like the Burger King one. That av gives me the deep down willies. :woot

And Prax's avs are often nasty too.

....this reminds me of:
My mom was really against any child of her's having a "Mad magazine" in the house. Her prohibitions added a real intrigue to the occassional find of this giant of satire in my brother's stuff (I am four years younger).

He's had a great trip. He left Cairo to go to Alexandria on Sunday. Where he was staying there didn't have wi-fi so I didn't hear much from him this week. But I got an email on Wed. (Wed. here - Thurs. there) He was leaving Alexandria........ 4 -5 hours drive to the airport in Cairo ..... then a 5 hour flight to Amsterdam ..... 6 hour layover in Amsterdam ..... then 10 hour flight to Vancouver. He'll be tired when he gets back!

I asked him if he was taking pics and he said that he hadn't taken a lot. I encouraged him to take more! :)

We'll download them and share some here after he's back. He's arriving around 5:30 this afternoon.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Man that is a lot of traveling his frequent flyer points must be double digits!

I look forward to posts/pics of his trip!

Sounds similar to what went around here a couple of weeks ago.

Best treatment... LOTS of rest..

If you feel like eating at all choose a very light diet (toast, crackers) and as much liquid as you can tolerate.

For the stomach cramps/pain/nausea: ginger tea
Tylenol works best for the fever/chills. Any other med like ibuprofen or naproxen will make the stomach pain/nauses worse.

If you end up with the cough along with it: Vicks Formula 44 D worked the best for us. Other brands of cough syrup didn't touch it.
