Vicki's Concert in Tupelo

I went to Tupelo to Pastor Tommy Galloway's church to hear Vicki sing and share about the orphanage. It was an amazing time of praise and worship. I've seen her on TBN several times, as have some of y'all. But if you ever get the chance to be in a service with her, take it. You won't be disappointed. The anointing is definitely on her life.

I jokingly told her and TyHuff that I was going to post alot of bad stuff about them, and they were both like, "Yeah, do it!" but I have nothing but good to say. I helped Terri clear the product table afterwards and went to eat with them and Pastor Tommy and his family. They are good people and I truly enjoyed my fellowship time with them.

I told her that I have seen the pics of the orphanage, read her posts about it, and watched her share about it on TBN. But when she started talking last night, I cried from the time she started until she quit talking. Hearing her heart, feeling her passion, and seeing her vision for the kids stirred something in me that I haven't felt through the media aspect of her ministry.

My hat is off to these ladies for everything they are doing in Africa.

Tommy Galloway once pastored at Powells Grove United Church in Jayess, Mississippi. Is it true that he has gone Charasmatic?

I don't know what your definition of Charismatic is, but he is no longer in the UPC.

He is a good guy. I have met him before but he didn't remember me. But when I introduced myself as Jon's wife, he busted out laughing and said, "God bless you!" Then he had to introduce me (as Jon's wife) to his mother, because she knows Jon as well.

He seems to be doing well. He started a new church five years ago and they are running 300. He said only a handful are from a pentecostal background, that they are all new to a spirit-filled church. That's fun church!

Yeah, I figured you had known him forever. Cool about your brother. I know where Saltillo is - in both states. We have one right next door to Adamsville!

I knew Ty as soon as I saw her. I don't know that I have ever actually "met" her but I have met her - if that makes any sense at all. She was so sweet. She even offered to let me stay there at the hotel with her so I wouldn't have to drive home late last night. I told her that I had to be at work at 7:00 this morning so the drive would be easier last night than at 5:00 a.m.

I know you're not just talking about singing. She has an awesome singing ability but it's the ability to move you into worship in such a powerful way. I am a worshipper and I love to be around other people who love to worship my God!!

I have had the pleasure of seeing Vicki sing at AOC in N.O. many years ago & remembered that experience. She is still a worshipper after all these years!

I have been to a couple of tapings of TBN at the studio and the anointing in the tapings are even more tangible than what is experienced on TV.

Damaris-my daughter and I got a chance to meet her and TyHuff at the 2006 MegaFest in Atlanta. They are really nice folks!

Hey Vicki, have you sung at Mt. Hermon in Avondale, LA yet?

I know what you mean about Vicki and the anointing. Mom and me witnessed this when she was here a year or so ago, and she is outstanding.

And I agree that Huffy is very sweet...

Charismatic
- Thad's Definition: ANYONE who no longer attends a UPC affiliated church or one who has left the MOTHER SHIP and does not adhere to standards.

By this definition Tommy G has "gone charismatic".

I went to Bible College with him and figured him to be a company man through and through. I was surprised when many years ago I found out he had "gone charismatic".
