I'm so sick of this long winter. Cold, rain, wind, snow.......will it ever cease???? :reaction:tantrum

I'm thinking Spring is never going to come. We have had a couple of teaser days but then its back in the 50's gain here in DC. I can't go to a National's game at the new stadium until I can go without a coat.

I am ready!!!! Went to Florida the 1st week of March and have been waiting to break out my shorts here ever since!!! I did have them on a couple of days. The women went crazy.........

I've been wearing shorts for months now ..... Houston has a 1-2 month winter

I've been able to wear shorts for a month and a half or longer... move to Texas.

I had a strange ordeal happen yesterday It was actually humorous. I have to go to physical therapy every other day and starting next week every day for a ripped disc well... Yesterday morning there was a new addition to our morning crew... (its usually the same 12 of us there every morning give or take.) She was however an Apostolic lady.. Well I may be apostolic and actually come from one of the most conservative churches in our area but I have common sense too enough to know I am not gonna wear a long skirt to PT... Well she came in her skirt.. and no I am not condemning or criticizing but common sense people... She was sent home after 1 exercise that did absolutely nothing to help her... Because she was not dressed properly enough for them to do anything more without the whole gang seeing everything.

She had cut some eyes at me a lot as her time on her first exercise went on... she asked her trainer to give her a moment and pulled me aside and asked me if God would be ok with this... I of course told her to go to her pastor ( I know her pastor and he would have told her the same thing I did) then I said... but dear... this is something vital to your healing and not possible in a floor length skirt.. yes God will be fine with this!!!

This blew my mind I mean I know yall talk about people like this all the time but even in the church I am in and have grown up in... Our pastors have never been that overbearing that they made us to feel we couldnt live and make our own judgements. No I do not walk around town in Jeans.. wouldnt even if I didnt feel they were wrong for me because I dont look good in them but its just the fact that some people have to use common sense.

Sorry for hijacking.. just wanted yalls response on this.. if you want me to move this post from this thread just ask and I will gladly. Just seemed the good place aka the shorts thing. :)
