Moving To Puerto Rico. Any Apostolic Churches?
 

Hey, will be relocating to Puerto Rico. Anyone know of any Apostolic Churches that I could possibly visit while living there (in the San Juan Area) or island wide? Thanks.

Our youth pastor just moved here from Puerto Rico. Unfortunately he's not apostolic. but I can ask him if he knows of any apostolic churches anyway if you'd like.

That's great. I am not limited to apostolic churches just as long as its Pentecostal. I visit all holiness churches (however I'll always be and keep the apostolic faith)

Miguel sent this link to me today, but I'm not sure it's exactly what you're looking for. I've emailed him again asking him for churches that are specifically Pentecostal (not necessarily Apostolic, since I'm not even sure if he knows what that means :) )

While I am so greatful for the research you have done for me I will not be attending Calvary Chapel of Puerto Rico due to the fact that in their statement of belief they DO NOT allow speaking in tongues out loud during worship. I find a major problem with that however two minds are better than one so I'll keep researching and you keep helping me research and together we should be able to find me a good church to attend in PR.

My biblical spanish is not that great however as with any pentecostal church the same words seem to be repeated over and over again so it should not be hard for me to pick up biblical spanish (amen, gloria de dios etc. etc)

When I read their statement of faith, I didn't think it would be what you were looking for. I'm not even sure that I would go there myself - and I don't even attend an Apostolic church these days :) Something about this just didn't seem "right" to my spirit, you know what I mean?

I've got Miguel still looking for you. If nothing else, he might be able to contact his parents who still live there and ask them to check their phone directory to see what's listed!

Yeah, it did not feel right in my spirit either. Any church that has a whole page with a list of what they DONT believe I find questionable at times (not always, just at times).

I just returned from San Juan and preached the Anniversary (44th) conference at http://www.barbaraann.org/. They are presbyterian but most - including Dr. Rivera and his entire family are filled with the Holy Ghost. I preach there every year and have hundreds saved, filled and healed. They are NOT what some would consider "Apostolic" but it is a GREAT CHURCH!

Never said to forbid. Read the scriptures I listed again. The first one talks about speaking in tongues a lot. Just the right place at the right time for the right reason!
