The girl's Jr. Quiz Team took the first place trophy in a two day, Regional Extravaganza!

In addition, Emily got the 2nd highest average score.

There is a third member of their team who is not pictured.

AWESOME Bro!!!! I used to be a Quiz Coach when our team won our District finals. Quizzing is a great program to get the word in those little minds of mush!! :D May your girls get it good, and progress to a championship!!

Was this the Extravaganza in St. Louis? If so our JR Bible Quizzers were there, too! They won their first quiz yesterday but, I haven't heard how they did after that.

Oh, I'll miss that. My youngest daughter Rachel will get baptized tomorrow night 'cause I actually be able to be there for that. However, the baby won't be there, he's still too young to get out yet.

I asked our Quiz Coach yesterday if they had "met" The Hoover girls. He said "Yes, they wiped up the floor with us!!"LOL But, then of course went on to say how good they really were. I think our team had a really good time and learned a lot. They are a very young team.

Just back from Jr Bible Quiz Missouri State Finals. My oldest daughter Emily brought home the first place trophey for Highest Scoring Quizzer, and the team with the girls on it place second in the state. So they will be at the national quiz in July.

That's awesome!! I only did Bible quizzing one year as a kid, but I still remember things from that year of study. It's a great way to get the Word into them at a young age.

It really is. I am awed by the memorization they accomplish. I can't think of a better way to spend one's energies and competitivness.

The team from your bro church edged ours out for first! They were both undefeated when they quizzed each other. Ours beat them, then they beat us later in the day. Since double elimination is required, they quizzed again immediately for first and second place. They were tied on the last question but edged it out with an interrupted quotation. Several of the matches were decided on the last question.

Our girls were were very happy with second - especially with Emily's 1st place trophey for Highest Scoring Quizzer.
