Eddie Preached in Phoenix today
 

We were with the Goldsberry's in Phoenix for two services this morning. I thought JTullock was going to show up for the first service, but if he did, he never came up and told me. Phil baptized 18 people in Jesus' name this morning! It was awesome - the testimonies had everyone in tears. Eddie preached really well (a bit prejudiced here!) and we had good response. We are just chilling at the Goldsberry's house today and fly back home tomorrow.

Wow! I guess I forgot (or didn't know) that you are in Phoenix!! The Goldsberry's live in Chandler, but the church is in Tempe. It's the one that Jim Roam used to pastor until he died. They had a great crowd and it has grown SO much since we were here 14 months ago.

I am glad you all had a great service. We were just in Tempe to look at a house today. We had a men's confrence this weekend and had Phill Saenz from Lake Elsinore CA in to preach to our men and he stayed over for the todays service. I have not danced in church for a long time. Today I broke that. Don't get me wrong, I worship and pray but I have not danced but boy it sure felt good to cut loose and do a jig for Jesus. :bliss

Will have to give them a visit sometime. Believe me it would not be to make a move we love our church and pastor but we do like to visit with others when they have special services.

Yeah, and they just baptized 6 weeks ago, so these are all recent converts. The temperature today is AWESOME!! We were sitting out by the pool and it got so warm we had to come in (or jump in the pool!!!). I love it here, except in July-September. I understand though why so many people move here for the winter months.

Sorry Sherri, I really wanted to be there. I had trouble with one of our vehicles and so I would have had to take the car and my wife would not have been able to go to church. So I went to our church instead. I was thinking about you all and praying for the service. Great reports! I was there one Sunday that they baptized over 20 counting both services. They have a great thing going on there.

Yeah, those were good times. We went up to NY nearly every year that they were there. I loved it!
