Since AFF was down all day and most of the evening yesterday, what did you do with your time?

Well, let's see... I read a novel...did some shopping...ate way too much but enjoyed it...and I do say that is all... I should make it sound more exciting though...


Hmm.. ok... I read this great new book...It was full of romance (christain style that is), faith and loyalty. I cried at some parts... Afterward, my mother in law and I browsed the most interesting store called, "Christmas Point". They have such exquisite items...Oh, and their spices and seasoning are out of this world. Oh, and kitchen gadgets, they have so many unique ones.... When then went to Grizzly's and ate. I ordered soup and salad... But, instead of soup, I had their beer can chili... I just thought they cook beer into the chili like they do with beer batter fish or onion rings.... I was at the end of my bowl and I could taste it.... Yep, no lie! I knew what it tasted like because in the 5th grade my friends said I was too good to take a drink of their beer. I did and spit it out because it was the nastiest taste ever....and that is what I tasted in my chili.... Ugh! (but the chili was good) So there, you have my Sunday agenda... Overall, it was a peaceful day! :)

Went to church... went to African church... went to Lowes and bought more power tools for my hubby for work (which I get to play with them before he leaves!!!) went to this really cool new store out here and got the girls some clothes... came home took a nap... got dressed... went to church... had our family pictures taken... had church... went to dinner... went to walmart... got gas in my truck... came home watched I am Legend... and crashed about midnight... no relaxing but had a good day!

I kept busy. Plenty of other places that needed havoc wreaked! :lol

-Went to church. My wife could not go. She had to go take care of some grand kids.
-After church, I traveled about 20 miles to help wife with grandkids.
-Wife and I and two of the grandkids went out for lunch. One stayed home with a friend expecting friend's parents to pick her up.
-Took grandson to Game Stop where he purchased a new video game (Grandpa didn't pay for this one)
-Took 3 of the grandkids to a local park and spent some time there. They played while I sat and watched, then we hiked a little in the park.
-Took those 3 to Walmart where they each purchased a video game (Grandpa paid this time).
-Left grandkids after their Mom got home, drove 9 miles to area where I live.
-On way home stopped at Krogers for gas but the lines were so long I decided to wait until today when I'll have more time.
-Did some grocery shopping while I was there at Krogers.
-Late dinner after getting home.
-Some time reading and then too much time on the Computer.
-Got to bed later than I should.

went to church, spent 6 hours in a board meeting.

went home, ate supper, watched Extreme Make over Home improvememnt,

got the squid ready for bed and kept an eye on the Stars game as they dismantled the San Jose Sharks.

6 hours?????? You all should agree on more stuff so you could get done quicker!

Or else have less on your agenda. Maybe you should consider having board meetings more frequently!

funny thing is, we didnt disagree on anything. it was just what we had to go thru! insane.... but we are building a new church so it is kind of exciting!

I was driving home from a visit with my brother in Chicago! We went to see WICKED at the Oriental Theatre. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! Then on to Sunflower Bistro for an "upscale" Chicago dinner. It was GREAT! But, the Chicago dogs on Thursday were pretty great too!

Well, I did the usual two services with lunch in between, the only difference was that we had several guests with us this weekend, so we had quite a crowd at lunch!

My mom had a couple of her friends with her this weekend, they were taking a break from the sectional meetings. So that was fun, I always enjoy getting to spend time with them. And we also had Bro. Graham with us, we were finishing up our Stewardship campaign, and had a very exciting service last night. So it was a good day!

Went to church. Jumped and shouted. Came home. Rested. Went grocery shopping. Ate dinner. Washed some clothes, crashed hard.

Oh Thank God! AFF is back up! I really do go on withdrawal when it's not here. I've been more of a lurker than a poster lately.

Renda - what size shoes do you wear?

I have size 7 1/2 and 8. I can't wear them anymore because they fall off of my feet. Weird! Didn't know you could lose weight in your feet.

I got the CUTEST yellow platform shoes. I'll take a pic and post it. They are my favorites shoes of all time! Love 'em!!!

My Sunday was quite relaxing. Then I tried to go to sleep and couldn't. So I had a miserable night. Soooo sleepy today. Please hook me up to the caffeine!!!

Started and finished a 2 credit multimedia course (with a 98% too tyvm!) on gifted and talented students. It was very, very interesting and just might be the course that pushes me into very seriously considering education/special education.
