He was supposed to have been converted a few years ago, his wife took him to church after a drug crisis if I remember right and it stuck.

The Clark Brothers sang 'Jesus on the mainline' on Idol a few weeks ago-I didnt realize Aerosmith was singing it as well.

Steven Tyler and Aerosmith are not typical rockers/rock bands. I mean musically. I suspect he sang this for the bluesie black gospel element of it and not for the religious.

Anyways, Steven has always been a cross dresser.....uh I mean a cross over. They performed with Run DMC years before others were doing it.
