UPCI - Rev. Darrel Johns.

One of my favorite places is Pastor Jentzen Franklin's church.

Depends if you like small, medium, and/or mega.

Blessings, Rhoni

Bro John's church, Atlanta West Pentecostal Church, might be the most blessed church I've ever been around. But they are UPCI, and thus standards (although they're not hardcore about it). Berkeley might want to check it out though.

I would have to agree. AWPC is the best place! If you do not believe in standards you would still be welcome. Bro. Johns doesn't preach standards every service and everyone is welcome at AWPC.

There are many churches in the Atlanta area. The best thing for you to do is to locate them and to visit them a few times to see which one is best for you.

Berk -

It would help if you could give me a little more specific as to which area around Atlanta. Is this for you? or a friend?

Re: Church in the Atlanta area...

There are some african american churches too you could try that have crazy church.

St. John Apostolic Holiness Church in Tucker GA Bishop C.E. White
Bible Way Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Atlanta GA Bishop Matthew Norwood
First Apostolic in East Point GA
Highpoint Christian Tabernacle in Smyrna GA Apostle Thomas Vinson
Bethesda Temple of the Apostolic Faith (PAW) Bishop Stewart Reese
Solid Rock Pentecostal Church College Park GA UPCI
Lord the list goes on and on and on. Atlanta however is a very non-traditional city so you wont have a problem finding a non-standards church. Most of the apostolic churches listed above are melting pots. Pastors dont harp on standards however 50% of the congregation still keep the standards while the other 50% hold semi-liberal views i.e. pants and jewelry etc. etc. Hope that helps some.
