Re: Apostolic 'Blogs
The Pope Of Pentecost is a good blog I that I like; it's run by one of our AFF members.
And of course, my own blog's address is always in my signature below. Mine covers religion, the news, and current events in general, from a Christian perspective. |
Re: Apostolic 'Blogs
Thanks for sharing- I occasionally read Myles Young's blog at the Rock. I do not have the link with me on this computer.

This one doesn't make us go to confession or say Hail Mary's though. I was a bit leary of the title...but do like checking out his blog (www.thepopeofpentecost.wordpress.com) from time to time. (Seems he likes my blog too as he added something from my blog on his today.) But I'm a middle-aged gal who does NOT keep up with the current apostolic events, and his blog keeps me "in the know." :santathumb www.love4holiness@wordpress.com |

I have to agree. Old Landmarks is very good. I post the Pentecostal History each month here on AFF. With the authors permission of course! |
Re: Apostolic 'Blogs
Sorry, the blog at apostoliccontender.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs.
I noticed for a few months jabba the hut distanced herself from Gary Reckert. Anyone have the scoop? I also notice GR had a blog. In it he said he never publicly attacks unless publicly provoked. The guy is a liar. I don't recall Anthony Mangun or Kenneth Haney blasting him, yet Reckert went on a cyber crusade against these two giants of faith. |

You want to attack Bishop Reckart, a man of faith and truth, but you yourself sit under a pastor who recently had his license pulled by the UPCI, as reported by a visitor on your blog. I do not think you are in any condition to talk about anyone being a liar, calling holiness witchcraft and such. |

Wow... good stuff here. Enjoy it.
Here's a site someone posted in a forum on EA recently, looks like West Coast folks: ApostolicBloggers.blogspot.com. Also, enjoy this one by Jason Dulle http://theosophical.wordpress.com/ One here for Jeremy Foster too http://jeremyfoster.blogspot.com/ My old Pastor, Anthony Mangun, should start a blog. |
Re: Apostolic 'Blogs
Pope of Pentecost LOL How funny.... reminds me of a preacher whose congregation referred to him as "Your Excellency", talk about an ego trip! I'm sure the people greeted Peter with great reverence though - I mean, considering folks were healed in his shadows and all!

Re: Apostolic 'Blogs
Welcome back Bill. Biship Reckert told a whopper when he says he never publicly attacked unless he was provoked. What did Kenneth Haney and Anthony Mangun do to provoke an attack from Reckart? What did Haney do to provoke Reckert to insert devils horns on his Haney's photo?
Read blog carefully. UPCI didn't pull the preacher's license. They didn't nor do they have a case. I love Biblical holiness. If I didn't have holiness, I wouldn't have been your STRONGEST defender against the attacks of legalists. Holiness is consistent and doesn't cause confusion. Legalism is as confusing as John Kerry's position on the Iraq war. A man of faith wouldn't lie about the number of followers he has. If this man has 6,000 followers world wide, why does he struggle to have a decent following in his hometown in Florida. Bennecasa runs circles around Reckert. A wise man once says if you can't win your community, you can't win the world. EB is winning the lost in his community while Reckert is counting everyone behind him at the baggage claim terminal as a follower. It may come as a shock, but everyone who speaks broken english isn't a Reckartite. Someone should ask Reckert why someone as hardcore as EB is a successful soulwinner while Reckert has to go to a third world country on the other side of the world to make a self proclaimed impact. A dime to a donut says if EB doesn't need to have lustful induced contests about hair length to have revival. Legalism is witchcraft. Witchcraft is an abomination. Reckart espouses legalism. Thanks for reminding to check the blog... Didn't realize the jerk posted. My pastor didn't get his upci license pulled. Enough about that... Read the Blog for my response. That person doesn't know her backside from a hole in the ground anyway. What condition should I be in to state what the Bible says about legalism? Enlighten me. We haven't tussled in a long time. "The 8 am coffee has been poisoned!" "...Future Dwight" But these are the type of characters that a person can have fun with. Someone like Reckart, and apparently the current incarnation of BP, can be made to await their current CIA orders from the top of an office building and be told to "destroy your cell phone!" because their cover has been compromised. |

Re: Apostolic 'Blogs
Aren't you curious to know what happened to apostolic pretender? first of all one of the wicked step sister leaves. Then for a few months, the blog says the remaining one no longer has ties to reckart. I'm dying to know who threw who under the bus. Whose defense do I come to now? Do I throw my support behind Jabba the Hut's mother or behind Carl Childer's twin brother?

Eh. who cares. I am sure Bro Haney is properly chastised and has adjusted his life accordingly. Hey TV buddy... how are ya these days? |
Re: Apostolic 'Blogs
I'm fantabulous. God is working miracles. I'm getting a house within walking distance from the church. (Better than the 20 mile drive seven days a week one way.) Family is on fire for God. Kids are making an impact at their new school, the church is on fire and growing. Young people are getting filled with the Holy Ghost. Old people are getting filled with the Holy Ghost.
Do you know what happened to the great apostolic pretender? Enquiring minds want to know. Quote:

Re: Apostolic 'Blogs
Fake Hebrew buzz words??? Have you read the studies, or are you just going on modern beliefs? This is the problem with those who will go on face value, and not read the full studies.
As for the allegations that he attacks without provocation, if a man presents false doctrine, that is provocation for any man of God, or should be at least. The words that 'attack' are in true alignment with this scripture: And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. (Jude 1:22-23) Now, while some men would attack Bishop Reckart, even for his fellowshipping with me, he still does. I stand with Bishop Reckart and his stance for the one true God, EhYeh Jesus Messieh. Now, before we hear more about how these Hebrew 'buzz' words are so wrong, and how Bishop Reckart is so evil, maybe you should know the great man of God who is doing a great work throughout the world. I am going to take his advice, and from here on, will not cast the pearls before swine, or to put in modern terms, do not take the truth and share it with those whose heart will not receive it. Turn from all sins, all ways dark, and all false ways, and turn to the one true and living God, our Messieh, EhYeh Jesus Messiah. |
Re: Apostolic 'Blogs
Brother Price...I read your threads and your stinging answers bother me for today you stand with Brother Reckart and who knows what you will believe tomorrow?
I do not think Brother Reckart is evil so this is nothing about him...I am thankful for every soul that comes to the knowledge of Jesus Christ where ever it may be and by whoever it may be. However you change so much your words weigh nothing...ever though in some cases you could be right. Whatever you believe must be a heart thing and not something that changes with every wind... Mood swings are a sickness...Please decide what you believe so that when you speak people listen...that does not mean they will always agree but they will weigh what you say and usually be respectful. There is nothing wrong with a good change...we all change at some point over the course of a lifetime...but it is NOT a usual every week thing. I do not want to hurt you in anyway. You have great talent but many have talent but misuse it and it serves for nothing. Son, decide in prayer not on mood swings WHAT you really believe...Believe it and donīt be offensive about it. I KNOW it is impossible to please everybody so just be what you are where ever you are.... With Respect: Mom Alvear |

Re: Apostolic 'Blogs
How can you pull someone from the fire if you are afraid of the smoke?
I know a prominent aljc minister who was raised jewish. He participated in jewish customs since he was a child. Reckart got his revelations off the side of a Cracker Jack box. Lets assume the asinine statement that Reckert was provoked. What kind of defense of the gospel is pasting devils horns on KH? It would be like photo shopping a pentegram on Reckert's forehead. There has to be a mental problem when a guy has to go halfway around the world to get his jollies by fawning over women's hair. I wouldn't allow him in the same county as my wife or daughter. There are enough freaks to deal with. Your pearls before swine double speak means you have no response. The funny thing about your statement is you and/or Reckart actually believe your pigeon droppings are pearls. Who says God doesn't have a sense of humor? Quote:

Re: Apostolic 'Blogs
To be fair to jabba, were the photos taken before or after her conversion to reckert, uh God?
Were the photos doctored? Did she admit or deny the charges? I thought something was wrong when her photo appeared without mini-me. Then she had a vague statement about her relationship with reckert. It appears the same little bus she used last year to run over bill price laid a trail of rubber on her. Quote:

I did not like what people said about Brother Epley and Brother Pugh (AB)...that was not fair at all but I know from experience people will take anything you say and twist it to whatever they want it to say...If you mention some friend that does not fit their mold you get crucified...Poor Jesus Christ...the friend of all...

Re: Apostolic 'Blogs
Bill Price responded to the blog I has posted here for a while. I smiled at his response. I really don't have the heart to rip his heart and feed it to him like I used to. Sometimes he feels like a kidney stone that I need to pass. However, I still pray for the guy. This time of year is bad for families who lost loved ones. I'm going thru it now. Funny thing is when I pray for Bill and his family, God helps me deal with my loss.
