It's hard to beleive that AFF has been so slow today. What gives?

That doesn't help since circumstances out of my control forced me to take today off (and get paid for it) I was hoping for some good conversation to ward off bordom today.

I have been too, for the most part, for the past while.
For a couple weeks it seemed like everytime I logged in there was a standards argument at the top of the list so I quickly logged back out. HA

Right! I stop posting about that time! Then I got used to not spending as much time and I like it! lol

Working on some furniture and other things. Just takes a lot of time. I like taking a break. It clears your head. lol

Yesterday I was feeling cabin fever...

I'm currently a stay at home mom and every so often I get feeling like if I don't have adult conversation I just might lose it... yesterday was one of those days.

It seems like lately, when I've wanted AFF to be happening, it's been dead as can be.

Yea, that can be a bummer when it's slow on a slow day for you. I logged in on a Saturday a while back and it was totally dead. lol

Yes, I refurbish them and sell them in my daughter's store. I'm doing a cute lime green with multi-color stripes in the upholstered seat for a child. Excited to finish that one.

Well, I joined the real world again this week!

After being gone from work for 10 weeks I guess you could say I'm a bit overwhelmed with work!!!

Renda, good to hear that you've healed up well enough to go back to work. Sorry to hear about the pressures involved with that, but isn't it nice to be back?

I've been swamped here lately. I did Senior Pics for a kid last week. This Saturday I have to photograph a wedding for a friend's daughter. And on top of all that, I made the invitations for my son's graduation party and had to get them addressed, stamped and sent out. We have a huge family and then lots and lots of friends, so altogether, I think I mailed out 150 invitations to this party. And then finally, I am working on a DVD to play at Justin's party. This will have about 100-125 pictures in it! Oh ya, and let's not forget the party preparations. He wants Italian. So I'm making spaghetti, fettucini alfredo, breadsticks and salad for all these people. Plus we're doing an ice cream sundae bar.

And now you know why I've only been doing drive-bys here.

Along with all this the wedding is getting closer and closer.

I had the invitations all ready to mail out today and found out that one of the roads getting to the chapel is under construction, so the driving directions needed to be changed to include in the invitations. Fun. BUT, at least it happened before I mailed them.

Oh I had forgotten about the wedding Renda, my mind is just coming and going lately, mostly going....LOL
Good luck with the preparations. And I know it will be a gorgeous wedding. Can't wait for the pictures.

I have been on for a couple of weeks myself. I personally got tired of the debates on who God is and things like that. I dont' come here to argue. I enjoy conversation with other OneGod believers.... But, after being off, I have been busy with other things too. And by the way, your work is great! I loved the way you redid the chairs. You remind me of my mil...she does incredible work like that also.... I would love to learn to do that, but as of right now, I don't have time!
