My daughter, her future MIL and one of her bridesmaids are coming tonight from St. Louis. Tomorrow is her first bridal shower and several of my family from Jonesboro and Little Rock are coming too.

The St. Louis crew will leave Sunday afternoon and Monday I will rest and catch some rays!

Can you believe it's time for showers already? Before you know it, the wedding will be upon you!

Huge plans! Hopefully get rid of most of this furniture that's in the way. And then wash all the wonderful walls behind it. I'll probably vacuum a lot too. And mop. And pack and ready some boxes for shipping (I'll send those out Tuesday maybe) and keep going through things and eliminating what I really don't need.

I leave this apartment the 3rd, I gotta get stuff done. lol I'm going to try to get all the "kids can easily help with" stuff done while they have a 3 day weekend, and all of the "they really can't so much" stuff done Tuesday and Wednesday while they're all still in school (the last two have school Thursday too if I need one more day).

White BBQ sauce? Sounds interesting. I know in South Carolina they use a yellow (mustard based) one.

I am going to debone a chicken, soak it in Tequila, lime juice and some chilies then toss it on the grill and stack some bricks on top of it.

also gonna do some shrimp kabobs, asperagus and squash.

we are making homeade ice cream and blackberry cobler and hanging out at my sisters pool.

Feel for you. Been there done that.

But at least you are moving to Texas, and Austin at that, it will be worth it.

Have that new wife of yours learn to make it. Frozen blackberries won't be as good as Ferd's fresh ones, but still make a good cobbler.

I don't have any real plans, but I am going out of town next weekend to the coast! YAY! I think I will get a massage on Sat. Monday I will just chill I think.

Pray for my kid, she is going camping with her dad and his family, and she hasn't spent that much time with him in over 5 years, it has the potential of of not going very well.
