Dr. Vaughn...I know you and your wife!!

Have just discovered that you are married to Michelle and I am her Aunt Jo. My children grew up in Bogalusa with the last name Misita. Give Michelle a hug and ask her to send me a private message. Shane, I have met you a very long time ago at the Misita home :bliss on Dogwood.

Many blessings.

Re: Dr. Vaughn...I know you and your wife!!

Wow is right! Michelle is darling! It has been waaaaaaa too long since I have seen her. It is such a nice feeling to know she has such good memories of me. Thank her for me. :)

I dearly love Nelwyn, her mother, and the rest of the family. We had some fun times!

Well, Dr. Vaughn, I am delighted you have mesmerized this board with conversation and interest. :):) My husband is the bible scholar and he does the posting on this board.
Most do not know we are husband and wife except for a few close friends.

Shane,
many blessings on the board. My fleshy self has almost said something about some angry posters who are not respectful to you as well others. Nevertheless, most folks on this board are wonderful people who love the Lord.

Tell Michelle to send me a private message and I will send my email.

May blessings overflow abundantly as you teach the Gospel.

Much love to you and your family, Aunt Jo

Hey! I was respectful enough. Once. Then I got old and mean.

Are you and your husbands Branhamites also or traditional Pentecostals?

I won't try to answer for him but it is my understanding that he does not idolize Bro. Branham nor treat his writings like Scripture. He just agrees with some of the things Bro. Branham taught over the years.

I have heard that Minister Louis Farrakan teaches self reliance for Black folks and I agree with that but I don't plan on buying any of his tapes or reading any of his books anytime soon.

I am also sure there are few nuggets of good wisdom in the Koran but I also don't spend time reading it or listening to Imans.

Helllooo CC ...Oh heck, u are not old and u are not mean. :) Anyone who rides on a cycle can't be too old.

Why no, in fact, I had never heard of Branhamites until Dr. Vaughn came on this board.

My husband was born on a UPC pew.... My dear husband's Dad was one of the most upstanding UPC preachers in his time. My dh and his siblings are filled w/ love for others. They are the kindness and nicest people one could ever meet. Also, the most intelligent. Have know all of them nearing 20 years and I love them more today than yesterday. My husband introduced me to the UPC ...I had been Baptist all my life. After being baptized in Jesus Name and receiving the Holy Ghost... my life is joyful and I am always praising the Lord.

Also, I can tell you positively Dr. Vaughn is NOT a Branhamite. All I have ever known is that Dr. Vaughn and Michelle are Jesus Name Pentecostal.

Does Bro Vaughn believe that Branham was the last Prophet to the church? does he believe in serpent seed ??

those 2 Qs would settle everything

Joie,

Glad to hear you and your husband are not Branhamites! Thank you for the kind words.

I so want to go riding tomorrow but I inured my good shoulder this week and can't move it certain directions and since the other shoulder is already a bum one with a calcified tendon I am hesitant to get on an almost 800 lb motorcycle with two bad shoulders!

I am going to try and be patient and give it one more week but this spring / summer weather just calls to me to get on the open road!!

I'm not here to defend Dr. Vaughn, but does a belief in serpent seed make a person a Branhamite? Wasn't the serpent seed doctrine around before Bro. Branham came along?

The other question about Bro. Branham being THE LAST PROPHET for the church age might be considered cultic. I am sure there are others who believe Bro. Branham was a prophet but not the last prophet and the only real prophet for this part of the church age.

It's the 2 questions combined Sam. They believe the serpent seed doctrine IS IS IS the last day message to the church and I am NOT taking that back

I have to be at a camp in MS that week. I have been in Austin twice in the last month and seem to be going more frequently. Let me know the next time you are going.

Dr. Vaughn has Branhamed us to death. He is not a casual observer. He has defended his teachings from top to bottom.

Ah, I loved that song in elementary school. In Alaska when it was too cold outside to go out for recess we would have an assembly in the gym and watch some of those great old 16mm educational films and sing songs. The BINGO song was one of my favorites.:bliss

But what was Brother Branhams view on the BINGO song? Have you started a thread about that yet?:gaga

Dr Vaughn, I just have 2 YES OR NO Questions for you and I wont debate your answers ( at least not here) that's a promise.

1) Do you believe in the serpent seed doctrine ?

2) Do you believe that Branham was the last Prophet to the church?

Now I am offended. "Crudenes"? C'mon now!!! Where is your sense of humor?
If you had been around here for any length of time before becoming the king of new threads you would know I am just a big ole warm fuzzy personified.

Well, ok, a warm fuzzy with a very dry sense of humor.

You just have to understand I am a big believer in the truth in the saying someone else posted on this thread that if it walks like a duck it most likely is a duck.

I do not believe for one minute you just have a passing interest in William Branham and his teachings.

I do not believe you just think he was a great preacher with some good ideas.

Just about all of your bazillion threads have had an obvious agenda even though you have denied it.

They almost all have dealt in indirect way with William Branhams doctrines. You were clever (or at least think you were) by not directly framing them that way but if you are the Christian you say you are I don't think you will deny that your intent was to promote his doctrines and views on those subjects by starting those threads.

By the way have you answered St. Mark's very easy two questions yet?
