What is your dream Joseph?

Joseph had a dream and he went through so much to get where God intended him to be.

Where/what do you dream?

I'll tell you mine, if you tell me yours?

Blessings, Rhoni

Getting paid for doing what I like to do, is one dream that I have.

What I like to do:

Multimedia presentations for church

Missions

Putting together Conferences-both for women and for ministry purposes.

Thank-you Jeannie! I do know how frustrating it is to be a minister's wife and put in as much time and maybe even more and only get one small salary.

It isn't that you want to be a hireling but the truth is, the services you provide, if working a secular job, you would get six figures.

I am going to pray that God bless you with a fair and equitable salary for all your ministry contributions.

In Jesus name!

Re: What is your dream Joseph?

It has been my desire, since I was 9 years old to work exclusively for and in the church. I did have that dream fulfilled for 15 years and I would not trade anything for the experience.

My dream now is different. I want to write a book, travel, and hold Marriage enrichment seminars, as well as counsel ministry persons giving them a safe place to unload.

Before I can do this...I have to put my house in order and let loyalty and ethics rule when my emotions would tell me to do otherwise.

God is working on me and is opening doors as we speak.

Blessings, Rhoni

Seriously, aside from Ministry opportunities, I have always wanted to open a Christian Book Store, & have a small Bible College, and Christian School!

A couple of people even touted me for the Principal should it ever take off.

That is wisdom.

Don't stop dreaming.

I think that is awesome. We need more access to Bible College classes through our local assemblies, and many churches now have their own book stores within the church.

Don't stop dreaming, reaching, and planning to fulfill those dreams...they are beneficial to kindgom ministries.

In Jesus name! Amen

No really, I have so many dreams it is pathetic.

1. I desire to build a work here where the congregants will reach their full potential in the Kingdom of God. I want to see folks used in the gifts, and empowered to be witnesses, walking in the fullness of Jesus Christ.

2. I want to start a humanitarian ministry that feeds and clothes the needy (in the city, state, country, and world).

3. I want to open orphanages and houses to take care of widows in China, Mexico, and Brazil.

4. I want to send forth and promote missionaries and fund them to the point that they do not worry about money.

There are just 4 for you.

St. Matthew,

Those are noble and God centered dreams. God wants what you want and that is the best affirmation you can get.

Blessings as you fulfill your dreams,
Rhoni

Matt you remind me of one dream I have, or used to have:

A womens' home for women who have been in prison, battered or homeless that have children.

A place where they could detox off drugs, get counseling, learn life skills all in the process of becoming a disciplined Christian.

Jeannie,

That is something we need. There are many counselors and social workers within our ranks to accomplish this worthy goal. I worked for 4 1/2 years with pregnant women and still have a burden for this ministry.

Many years ago I used to minister to women in a half house, some of them were baptized and received the holy ghost. But in retrospect I really wasn't trained well enough to handle these ladies, I was only like 27, I did the best I could. But I still have a desire to have such a home that would be sponsored by the church instead of a funded non Christian charity.

Jeannie,

If women's lives were changed then you did what you were supposed to do. One plants the seed, another waters, but God gives the increase.

I hope that one day we can have a home for unwed pregnant women where they can receive Godly counsel to help make difficult decisions, to keep or adopt out their babies.

Education in child rearing, job skills, and dressing for interviews and helping with transitional housing. All these would be part of it.

Blessings, Rhoni

Rhoni,

I was laying upon my bed sometime ago. All of a sudden I was looking into a room. The room was bare, all the walls were white. While looking into the room, these words appeared in the middle of the room, it said "for this cause", and then everything disappeared.

I really never figured that out. Chew on that for a while and tell me what you think.

Amen! We just need to be in prayer regarding these dreams until it comes to pass.

I'll have to pray about that one. I don't claim to be a dream interpreter but I'll pray and think on it:)
