its funny that most of the mod-libs on here are former JCM (which under the final administration was super conservative).

at least I was IBC and have a valid excuse to be to the left of center :)

Welcome! My husband preached in that district quite often for the Goldsberry's on Long Island, and then at 92nd St. (Urshan's old church). We love NY!!!!!!!!:bliss

I was born-again at the old 92nd street church! In fact, my family and I lived right around the corner from the brownstone that housed that Truth-filled congregation. :)

I did too. My pastor was totally against it. But my daughter will be in her senior year at Gateway this year and I have just seen her grow in God. She said alot of the kids come there and think it will be like camp. They are surprised when it is really run like a school.

I don't think Bible College is for everyone. I do think some will backslide when they go there. But when I look back at her years there I have to say for her they have been good years.

I just love the Goldsberry's. Of course we went to JCM with Phillip & David, but I had the privilege of visiting their parents church on many occasions in the last few years. They are all sweet people.

That was the longest skinniest church I'd ever been in. And the bathrooms were so small, they were like airplane bathrooms. LOL!! But we had great services. We had one guy who didn't get the Holy Ghost in service, but he received it on the subway on the way home. I'm sure that caused quite a stir!:bliss
