I just started reading some of the threads. People keep bringing up the same names (in one case, Mary Jo), so I am guessing that the forum is speaking of a specific church.

Correct. he never pastored in DeRidder. I dont know if or where he pastored before going to Sherman Texas (north of Dallas) but he has been there for a very very long time.

Hmmm. ive been reading.... and I do know some stuff.... being from DeRidder.

let me clarify what I can.

Charles Glass pastors in Sherman TX. his wife's name is mentioned quite unflattering on the site mentioned.

Charles is a brother to Papa George Glass and as with all the Glass brothers came from DeRidder. (thus that connection and confusion I suppose)

that forum seems to be a group of Ex-members of the Sherman church. They seem to be quite vocal about thier view of the Sherman church.... I aint goin there with a 10ft polll but thus far, they seem to be saying openly the things Ive heared whispered for all my lifetime.

The DeRidder Frist Church is being brought up because a dear saint of God from DeRidder receiently passed away. Her daughter goes to the Sherman church and the people on this forum dont like her much either....again, I aint going there.....refer to the whispers....

the Sherman church I know is on the extreme end of the liberal side of the Apostolic equasion and evidently this disproves the notion that only ultracons are controling.

Yes, imagine the shock of watching the evening news in another city and seeing a pastor and his wife of whose church you had visited. I heard a lot of things but not as in much detail as on that forum.

My only interest here is that it shows that not just conservitives can be cultic.

I dont see this as gosip as the link shows first hand information. not retreads of someone elses view. these people want their story told....

I wont go into any more detail than I already have but i dont see the problem with the link existing unless the good folk of AFF dont want to be imbarrised by a liberal Apostolic church the way so many conservitives have.

but we all have to live with the rules and what ever Admin thinks is fine by me.

LOL! well clearly I'm not as I had to step away from the UC forum... for not being one.... (however, it was amicable and I still consider the leader of that board to be a friend).... but I have always maintained a healthy respect for my UC brothers...

as I do for my more liberal brothers.
