I'm Voting Democrat This Year. Here's Why.
 
It might be surprising to some of you here, but I'm voting Democrat this year.

I'm voting Democrat because I'm mad that George W. Bush hasn't caught Bin Laden. That's because Bin Laden is the only Islamic terrorist in the world.

...I'm voting Democrat because it's my body, and if I want to kill my baby, I'll do it, even if its head is in the birth canal. If I want to cut out my intestines and feed them to the crocodiles, I'll do that too. That's the freedom our forefathers enshrined in the Constitution....

I'm voting Democrat because I believe we need other countries' permission for me to turn down my thermostat.

I'm voting Democrat because I care about the real victims of crime -- criminals.

I'm voting Democrat because everyone deserves ............ healthcare. Sure, you'll have to wait years for that life-saving cancer surgery. But it's first come, first served at the cemetery!

I'm voting Democrat because I believe in minority rights (except in Muslim countries), free speech (with regard to pornography but not conservative talk radio), environmentalism (unless we're talking about Al Gore's house) and diplomacy (but never backed by the threat of military force).

I am voting Democrat because I want the USA to only take National Security action when it is approved by France and other countries of the world.

I am voting Democrat because I want the United States foreign policy to be dictated by Western Europe and World opinon rather than America's best interests.

I am voting Democrat because I love to gamble and I am willing to gamble that the moderate face Obama has put on is the real Obama and that all of those left wing radical associations of 20+ years are just co-incidences and he is not part of them.

I am voting Democrat because I am a sucker for a great orator and will vote for one even if they have very little experience and no track record of success or leadership.

I am voting Democrat because I want to see socialism fully implemented in America starting with those evil oil companies.

Obama, being an Illinoisan, brings to mind the case of Abraham Lincoln, a one-term member of the House of Representatives and, in 1858, unsuccessful candidate for U.S. Senate. Even if you add Lincoln's eight years in the Illinois Legislature, his experience was dwarfed by that of Buchanan, his predecessor.

a MAJOR wake up call to the church. Obviously we are
not effecting this nation, churches are emptying, young
people are leaaving, the church is powerless. If this is
what it takes for us to wake up, so be it

I saw clips of him in service... I think he takes living for God pretty serious! Wow what a keyboard playa! :bliss

Mark is only on here to have good clean fun and I believe that is how everyone else is too. Some take it to heart, which is not good.

A teacher in Alabama asked her 6th grade class how many of them were Obama fans.
Not really knowing what an Obama fan is, but wanting to be liked by the teacher, all the kids raised their hands except for Little Johnny. The teacher asked Little Johnny why he has decided to be different...again.

I had one guy at work today said that the increase in gas/oil prices is George Bush's fault. I has said gas prices during Clinton's presidency was $20 a barrell, now its $135+. I asked him if he blames that on Bush, and he said "of course!". I was hoping he was kidding , but he was actually serious. He said Bush should use his influence to get OPEC to roll back oil prices to their previous levels. (like that's really going to happen!)

And this wassnt some simple minded 19 year old spouting this foolishness-- this was a fairly intelligent-sounding 60 yr old man , but the man was so clueless it was breathtaking, and in terms of economics, the man was practically an illiterate, as are too many Americans.

I'm voting DEMO crat so that the US can continue to buy the rest of the world's oil and save our own, so that we will still have oil when the rest of the world runs out. Then we can make a killing.

I'm voting DEMOcrat, so that we can continue to fuss about the high cost of energy and not have to actually do ANYTHING about it.


NOT!!!!!

I'll actually vote for McCain, because he is changing his stance on drilling domestically and on the use of "clean coal" and nuke power. Now if we can get him to ditch the foolish Gorism of global warming he will be on a better track to win.

I heard today he said he was NOT going to take the Fed funding for his campaign. He thinks he can raise the money he needs.

McCain said well, he has flip flopped again, because earlier he said he was going to take it. :)
