I kind of doubt it Bro. Scott, in my experience all of these "miracle", as seen on tv items, are generally worthless.

I don't think it's as easy as they say it is to do that. Takes a lot of work for some people to get smooth feet.

You could pretty much do the same thing with one of them cheese grater thingies, except you'd have a mess of dead skin to clean up! :D

Have one. It works. But still go and get regular Peds at the salon every six weeks.

What's the difference? It works on the same principle. You just need to make sure you don't reuse the grater in the kitchen afterwards. That's what's wrong with you womenfolk. No ingenuity. :D When I was bachelor, I used to use a nice set of pliers for tongs. I'd grab whatever it was I needed to flip over in that pan with those pliers, and they worked just as well as any set of tongs I've bought since then. A pair of tin snips work well as a can opener too. :D

I did notice at wal mart once they have a lot of different utensils now for women to have smooth feet. And even a home feet soaker thingy.

Yeah, the pedicure tools are really just for maintenance...they still can't do the work of a good pedicurist.

This is what the price of gas has cost me. My mani/pedi appts. have had to go for now. :tissue

It was that, or Starbucks, and, well, I'm sorry but everyone who has to deal with me on a daily basis will tell you that THAT is just crazy talk!! :crazy

Thanks Sistahs for the opinions.

HSN sells it and I thought I might try it.
BUT, I always read the reviews first. Opinions were mixed so I chose NO. As a rule few things are as easy or good as they proclaim.
If it is....waiting is worth it, most new "inventions" drop in price!

It works great.

Mine came from Wal-Mart, and I noticed Sally's is selling them now.

Believe it or not, you do not have to follow up with a professional...you just need to use a good lotion to keep the "new" skin soft.

So this thing might be a good thing to buy ?

I think it is a great thing to buy.

My son (he is only 15) bought one for me.

I did not know he was going to buy it, and he came home with "something I would really want".

You talk about touching my heart.

Well you all must not be preaching the Gospel, because in Bible it says,
"`How beautiful the feet of those proclaiming good tidings of peace, of those proclaiming good tidings of the good things!" (Romans 10:15). Maybe you should forget the pedi-egg and start proclaiming...

Sorry, I just had to throw that in there! :tease

My wife may be interested in that.
She grew up in the country and walked barefoot for most of her life.
She has tough feet but but her feet is dry cracked & rough.

I am a city boy so I hardly ever go barefoot.

Soft as a baby's bum.

It can all be done without the gadgets... I thinkkkk. :) Wear peds or any white ankle socks around the house as much as possible. At nite, smooth a lite layer of creme or vaseline on heels before putting on socks... Too hot with socks at nite, a lite layer of creme will not leave a greasy spot on bed linens when the socks are kicked off. :)

If all else fails, get you some medium grade sandpaper.... be gentle!! lololol

That is the problem with us country girls!! I don't have cracked feet, but it is a constant battle in the summer, because, as much as possible, I live in flip flops. That does a number on your feet.

I do the Vaseline/socks thing at night pretty regularly, but when it is hot, it is soooo disgusting! :eeeew

I was engaged to an American in 88 who was a country girl.
I ended up marrying a country girl from the Philippines.

Country girls are more fun--even with with rough feet.

I'm sure he will be just fine, and have a blast! Or, if you are like me, you want to hear, "he will be a total wreck without you, and will be counting the days until he can see his mother again"!! :happydance :happydance

My baby leaves again on Tues., headed to Sweden this time. Meanwhile, I am having the time of my life, going to work and paying bills, enjoying beautiful weather... Oh, sorry, was my bitterness showing.. :tissue
