I am sorry...

Tonight I recieved a message from a man of God. I want to say if I have said anything or done anything that would hurt anyone in anyway I ask forgiveness.
Sometimes, I tease about things that are serious matters and some may have misunderstood me and my writings.
The things of God are very important to me and His people are my family. I left home almost a child to come to the mission field. I literally left behind everything and everyone....years have passed and God has given me a wonderful family and wonderful churches...I am very blessed.

I may have come across in a manner I did not mean to telling about the presentation tonight at our church or maybe in some post or posts that would cause someone to think I was making light of doctrine. I did not mean that in any way.

Sometimes I tease and say things in a joking manner that maybe if in person people would take it in a different way. Anyway, just want you folks to know I would never on purpose hurt anyone or make light of doctrine.

I deeply appreciate all Godīs people and without them we could never do what is being done all over Brazil.

If I have offended anyone liberal or conservative or whatever camp I ask for your forgivness...I will try to be more serious.

Oh my goodness, I am about to cry. I don't believe you have ever, in any way made light of doctrine, or anything of God. I believe Jesus laughed with his disciples, children, and some of the people he came into contact with. I don't know of anyone that I could say with most certainty that exemplifies Jesus more than you Sister Alvear. If someone misunderstands it is on them I believe, not you.

When I was in high school every year I got voted as most wittest and most serious...I would always have to stand by two different boys worlds apart...and here on the girls votes someway I got this strange most wittest and most serious character crammed into one person!

Sis. Alvear,

What you have expressed here is beautiful! I never want to get to the
place where I cannot or would not be willing to say, "I am sorry".
It is a
healthy thing to humble ourselves and if there is someone who for what-
ever reason is offended, just apologize. Bless you, dear sister, in Jesus Name!

I was voted most wittest girl in my senior class. LOL!

Sometimes we cannot see our own faults and when someone helps us see some area where we are mistaken or wrong we can consider that person a real friend. Helping each other is what life should be all about...I am grateful for those that take time out and help me as I journey along.

Sis. Alvear, you always such a sweet and humble spirit....If anyone took offense to anything you said, I think it would be the other person's problem - not yours. I think everyone here knows you would never hurt anyone intentionally.

God bless.

Re: I am sorry...

Mark,

Sometimes in trying to be nice, people misunderstand us or our thoughts. I know a lot of the people here some from years ago some more recent so I never thought that I would come across as a person leaning to the left. But my friend felt that my posts have changed so I do not want to come across as a person that does not know what they believe.
I have by nature always been a person and those that know me best (my family) find my some of my friends different to say the least. I find other people that believe different quite interesting. So my friends have always included people from different faiths...I admire and look up to people that donīt always believe like we do but that does not mean I want to change I just admire people for things they do, goals they obtain but that does not mean I want to believe like them but I must have come across that way.
Anyway, I do not want to portray the wrong image. I want to be a godly person and I have no desire to be anything else.
I think I am rambling...it is 8:07 and I had a hard day yesterday and worked most of the night in the office and am back in here this morning. I have a bricklayer here already I am having a window taken out and a door put in to make things easier for me. Today is another hard day. Lots to do and a ladies meeting tonight.
Blessings to all.

I agree with your post here. Most of the time you get shot for trying to tell someone the truth!

It is a true friend that receives it. :)
