About 4-6 inches up it.
No loss of motion it is just sore & gets more painful with use.

Consequently I am on my seat a lot.

You are reminding me of our 4th of July weekend. My FIL drove down for the weekend to take a road trip in his new car. During a conversation, I don't know what my husband was doing this time, but I told my FIL, "Could you take him back home with you?"

He said, "Sorry, you have to keep him. The warranty has expired."
