What is the difference between Carpenter & Daniel

I was thinking about this today on my way home...thats right I was tired and didn't have anything else to think about I suppose.

Right or wrong, good or bad, handsome or ugly...

My main intent discussing the Apostolic culture, standards, doctrines, dress codes, nuances is to make people think, to make them laugh and consider a perspective they haven't thought of before.

Daniel A.? I believe he says the same thing, but his main intent is to get an emotional reaction so folks can respond out of indignance instead of rational thought.

But then again, I could be wrong...

Oh yea, that is another difference between Daniel and I.

:D

That's about like saying a walrus is a little bit better looking than a warthog.

True ... but we were looking for simple differences here.

I think my buddy Carp errs when he feels it necessary to try and point out differences between himself and DA. Anybody who can read can see that they do have different personalities and approaches to things - even differences about the many things that they happen to agree upon.

Carp, I think is maybe more like me - we seem to brood and reflect. Perhaps sometimes we tend relect too much.

Danny boy is different. He seems to just skip along. I envy that attitude sometimes. It's not my outlook, but what are you gonna do?

And DA's avatar shows him with some babe on watercraft enjoying themselves. My avatar is from a Victorian era haberdasher's advertisement and Carp's is a buckminsterfullerene. That probably speaks loads.

He's way taller... he's taller than me.

When Carp and I served in His Majesty's Foreign Service together back during the Great War, he was always getting the plum assignments due to his stature. I got the messy jobs like eavesdropping the Kaiser's w/c.

What can I compare to hearing Dan saying the words "I was wrong? on AFF".

Hell freezing over?

A true Yankee's fan routing for the Red Sox?

God to lie?

Let me guess ... he forgot to wear a gas mask when laying down traps for the trench rats ???? Explains quite a bit.

Actually I was the one ordering the poor schleps to set the traps for the trench rats.

Only one exposed to gas knows the effects, there DA. Let me guess, your mouth was open, your mouth was open...

Surely the above posts show your superior intellectual prowess and the ability to hit a homerun from time to time.

Daniel does not post from blind loyalty to ultracon friends.

Carp does.

Carpenter never calls me friend.

Daniel does.

The only similarity is that neither of them is as spiritual, handsome, gifted and wise as me.

You mean there is a difference other then the insignificance of back ground, up bringing, education, current address, job title, name spelling, posting style, opinion, and looks?

They can't be all that different, after all they both has an 'A' and an 'N' in there screen names

Unless I am mistaken Carp still believes the new birth of water & Spirit where Dan is more Baptist or Calvinistic in his theology?

There is a HUGE difference between loyalty and something called
R-E-S-P-E-C-T and H-O-N-O-R. While I will never agree completely with Brother Epley, you will never ever see me calling him by his first name or by only his last name. Although I disagree with my ultraconservative friends, you will never ever see me disrespect or dishonor them. That is a huge difference.

Also, you are calling people ultraconservatives who are not ultraconservative, like RRford. If you really know him, you would know he is not a UC, he is just consistent.

You are known by your friends and the company you keep however, I am a little conflicted however because both Daniel and RRford calls you friend and vice versa.

How can you call yourself spiritual and handsome in the same breath (sentence)? You just created for yourself an untenable paradox...friend.
