Heathrow Airport - Question

Has anyone flown into Heathrow airport?

Do all International flights arrive at the same terminal? Is there only one immigrations area? I'm meeting my parents & sister & we are on different airlines. I'm flying Northwest, & they will be arriving on American & British Airways.

Does anyone know?

I did a quick scan of their website, but it wasn't real clear to me. I'm being lazy so I was hoping someone would know without me having to read everything.

If I remember right northwest was terminal 4.... I flew Continental.. it was 4 also.

That's what I'm worried about. My brother is over there now & sent an email that he can't get their phones to work. I've used my phone internationally before so I should be good, but that won't do any good if their phones aren't working.

I'm sure it will all work out.

Been a while since I've been there - It's easy to get turned
around. I was surprised at how ran down the place was too
(maybe it's been remodeled since?)

You could find a general meeting place and have everyone just meet there no matter what terminal/gate they arrive.

The last time I flew into Heathrow was 2002. In 2006 I flew out of Gatwick which is further out but still a big airport.
