Blessings to all
The Administrators here have demanded proof of my Regent graduation...... or else be banned... so with that I will say goodbye as this forum has overstepped it's role in meddling in the personal lives of people..... However, be assured after I am gone.. I will still be sending the proof they have demanded just for truths sake, once it is recieved... I trust and pray at that time that every member of this forum will TRULY STAND UP FOR TRUTH and rebuke those who lead this forum for their shortsightedness.....
With that said, blessings to all, if I can every help any of you in ANY WAY or if you'r ever in Destin, Fl and wish to stay in our home on the beach.. of course at no charge my email is drvaughn@lavabit.com Blessings to all of you Bro. Vaughn |
Re: Blessings to all

and... uses that credential as part of their identity when participating in an online community how is asking for supporting evidence of having achieved a human/temporal credential anything other than an act consistent with knowing them that labor among us....and consistent with, a support of truth? For the most part, I find any reference to human credential, among members of the body of God's Christ, as borderiing on complete irrelevance, a type of silliness, in discussions focusing on the Kingdom of God. Yet once evoked, they do present a basis for which credibility can be cross-referenced and questioning be presented to further examine purpose/motive. So D.V., how does any action, persued in an attempt to verify a poster's genuiness, contradict "TRULY STAND-ing UP FOR TRUTH"? To me, it seems reasonable to ask, even though you have no obligation to provide it. |

I have never stated that I believed Dr. Vaughn was not telling the truth. Only within the past few days did I post that I was now beginning to have doubts because of the extended timeframe involved in him providing proof. I sincerely hope he has been telling the truth and that is why I was anxious for him to resolve this matter quickly when it first came up. If anybody's credibility is being called into question it needs to be resolved as quickly as possible. Dr. Vaughn has not been asked to leave here and the only restriction he has had regarding posting is the same rules everybody has. |

From Panama City to Pensacola, the panhandle is some of the most beautiful white sugar sand and the aqua-color in the surf is a beauty to behold. We could all do well to spend a AFF long weekend in Destin an consider our wonderful God as we walk along the surf as the sun comes up. I suggest we plan to meet there during the first week of February 2009 (Lord willing). |

But, when pressed for the truth, you made excuses ranging from not having the degree mailed to you yet, to different spellings of the last name, to calling Regent and having them tell you that for some reason your name was not in the database, they would fix it. Now, one has to wonder, what else are you fabricating? Is there truly a house in Destin? Are you really going on a year long sabbatical in a motor home? Do you really make 250K per year? Is there really a brain tumor? Lots of unanswered questions, Mr. Vaughn, and all needless. Pardon my impertinence, but it sounds to me like you've fabricated a fantasy world, and since you're being pressed to back it up, you are using Admin's admonition as a convenient excuse to run away to another place where people don't know you. Either way, I hope you find your true north one of these days. |

Well, I guess I did say it.:tease You don't have to be poor and stupid to be used of God in spiritual things. Blessings, Rhoni P.S. But you do have to be truthful and Dr. Vaughn hasn't been. That is the issue. |

But, what I gathered from his post was that having the degrees did not make one MORE qualified to speak to spiritual things, therefore he gets a bit suspicious when someone mentions their secular education before discussing spiritual issues. However, once one has made such claims, asking them to prove them is not against truth. I may be way off base, but that's what I understood. |

Vaughn,
At one point you volunteered to just scan your transcripts and upload them... and that would resolve the issue. From another thread: Quote:

Re: Blessings to all
I know I shouldn't - but I am gonna wade in here on this one.
I think too many people make everyone else's business their own when they have way too much to deal with in their own house. Dr. Vaughn, If you want to be a Dr. (and I have followed you on this forum and several others for several years) that is your business. I don't care what you call yourself. I was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Christian Theological Institute about 15 years ago and have no idea where the certificate even is today. I was honored that they awarded it to me. I have never in anyway used the title Dr. on anything at anytime. There are many men and women that are awarded Doctorates every year. There are many that I know that have honorary doctorates and use the title Dr. on just about everything. Dr. Oral Roberts, Dr. Marilyn Hickey, Dr. Kenneth Copeland..... There is a UPC pastor in Conyers, GA that uses the title Dr. because he took some on line courses and got a piece of paper that says he is a Dr. He is a Dr. just like I am with my certificate (that I cannot find)! It is funny to me when I hear people call him - Dr. So and So! LOL One day - that is gonna bite him in the rear end and his piece of paper that says he is a Doctor - won't help him! Anybody anywhere can find a diploma mill and send in $100 and get any kind of degree they want - that is their business if they want to do that - but it is not recognized by the state or by other learning institutions. If Dr. Vaughn wants to be a Dr. - so be it - I will address him as Dr. Vaughn. If you don't like it and don't want to call him that - I am sure he will answer to Brother Vaughn and will not be offended. I am also a Consecrated Bishop and my consecration is recognized in most of the predominately black church (PAW, COGIC, Bibleway, National Baptist, FGB and others) organizations. I am a white Bishop in the Black Church. I did not call myself Bishop and did not ask to be consecrated to the office. Many call me BISHOP and many do not - it don't matter to me one way or the other. I just preached in Puerto Rico in a Presbyterian church and the pastor - (who has THREE earned Doctorates - one in Medicine and is an MD, and one in theology and one in business) introduced me as Reverend Pugh - as "we do not have Bishop's in the Presbyterian Church). I had no problem with that at all. The people all called me Bishop and the Senior Pastor did not - I could care less - I was there to bless and minister to people. We can all be detoured from our destiny by being distracted by little things that don't matter to a hill of beans to God or anyone else. Why on earth would somebody feel that they have to FORCE Dr. Vaughn to PROVE he is a Dr.? Do we not know of PASTORS - that we may call PASTOR ____ that are NOT Pastors? Have we not ALL OUR LIVES - called people Brother and Sister - that we KNEW were NOT Brothers and Sisters? It all seems SILLY when you begin to think about it - Give a guy a break and don't be so controlling. If he wants to be a Dr. - let him be a Dr.! I have a very close friend - several years ago - he came up with this Doctorate of Divinity and started calling himself - Dr. So and So. Every time I get his cell phone message - This is Dr. So and So - Please leave a message - I scream - MY GOD - WHERE IS A DOCTOR WHEN YOU NEED ONE - I NEED HELP and I CAN"T FIND THE DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I should be called - The Right Reverend Doctor Bishop Senior Pastor - Head and High Potentate, Chief Apostle, Prolific Prophet and International General Overseer and Pentecostal POPE - of MY FOUR AND NO MORE!! Really - the longer I live - the more I enjoy just being Wayne to my friends - True friends don't care about all the titles and labels and certificates and degrees anyway - they love you for who you are! JMHO! ;-) |
Re: Blessings to all
AB - you're coming in a little late on this issue.
It's not just the matter of "calling" him Dr. He has said he attended Regent and received a Ph.D. and there is no record of him attending there. |
