Was his hair full of magic?

He lost his strength when it was cut. :hmmm

I wonder if it had healing power?

No evidence to support that, but it did help him kill a few thousand people. Give or take. ;)

not sure.. but his strength returned when his hair grew back..

But was his strength in his hair or in submitting to his vow?

Did he vow to let it grow again? or did he not have a choice? He was tied to the columns.

Now someone is telling me I can't have favor with God ,because I'm balding.

His strength was tied to covenant, obedience and submission to God. Hair was a symbol of that in his case.

His strength didn't return with the submission to the vow. There isn't scripture that says he submitted to the vow after capture. But after a time, his hair began to grow, and with that growth came strength once again.

Do you suppose that he let his hair grow back to renew his vow? Apparently he never asked for a hair cut again......:winkgrin

Perhaps... how else do we explain his lack of submission in being with Delilah in the first place? :cool:
