This is beyond crazy!!

OBAMA 'TRUTH SQUADS': Campaign asks Missouri law enforcement to target anyone who "lies, runs misleading TV ads"...Frankly, this strikes me as a desperation move by Obama and company... but it's bigger than Obama. This is using the law to prosecute/persecute your political enemies. I think this sets a very bad precedent.

My first gut reaction is I don't like it either. I mean if someone is slandered or libel, I think they should have the rights to civil cases, but I'm not sure about criminal. That seems like it's pushing it a bit far.

Do you know anything about the law they'll use to prosecute with? I would guess that McCain supporters could do the same if they wished? This is the first I've heard of criminal law on this.

BO either has NO clue of the three phases of government, or he does know and is trying to bypass them to install an evil dictatorship.

That's my whole problem with it. A law like this is just wide open to misuse, and to intimidate political opponents. If you don't like what your opponent says, accuse him of breaking the "Election Ad" law, and sic the police on him! That's just craziness.


But beyond that, the ramifications are even more troubling than that. If we tolerate this, the day may come (will come?) when the enemies of the church will try to used this kinda of law against the church too, in retaliation for "hate speech", or preaching they find offensive.

I'm convinced.. this is a step in the wrong direction. This is a step toward dictatorship and totalitarianism.

Obamanation knows who he is. The man is a racist in that he interjects his race often into the campaign. He is a liberal who help infuse the current financial crisis according to Congressional record. This man is now using mafia tactics to get himself elected. In other words, if this closet Muslim is elected...

I think that Truth, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. The democrats want to make sure their truth, and only their truth, is seen and heard.

I've tried to find the Missouri State ethics law that makes libel illegal, but can't find it yet. Why in the world did the people of Missouri let this type of law go into the books? I wonder how long Missouri has had a law against this?

The same way Nebraskans got a 'Safe Haven' law that is allowing parents to drop off their children, up to age 19, at a hospital and abondon them there for the state to take care of.

I am shocked that Obama wants to prosecute his own people being that they are the ones who lie most of the time. Sometimes I see his mouth moving and just know they are lies. :evilglee

this is not new for Barak Obama. The guy worked hard to get all of his compitition toss out when he ran for ill state legisature. his campaign poured over every single petition signature and went to court to get enough tossed so the he could run unopposed.

then when he ran for the senate, his people used the law to unseal divorce records of his opponent so he could get dirt on the guy that sunk his campaign.

This is his version of "new politics". it will get worse. and once he is in, you can bet people will go to jail that are his political enemies.
