well thanks for keeping me informed!
you've already been there over a year and you're going to have an installation?
you're already pastoring why do you need to be installed?

Thank you! So you think it's ok? I was going to include a map with all invitations and a special note to visiting pastors.

You think so?? I was going to go with Edwardian, but it isn't as clear to read.

Great idea on the map and special note to visiting pastors. Tell them to bring an offering! :toofunny

I mean for the offering, not that you will lose friends, which will probably happen, but you will have extra money. Lots to consider here. :toofunny

Like the font- You may want to seperate the street address and the city with a comma or put it on another line. I found it a little confusing because I am not familar with the area. Just a suggestion.

Re: I Need Your help with Our Installation Invitat

Jeanie, it looks good to me. The only thing I would say (and I'm not sure if it will work here), is that most of the time now I try to actually include the day of the week. Most people read it and tend to need to know what day it is in order to make a immediate decision as to whether they will go. It seems like it is easier to look at it and say "Oh that's next Saturday, I can definitely make it" (as opposed to a Sunday or something). I know that people can go themsleves and look it up, but it seems that we tend to get more immediate committments when people can just look at the invite and say "this is definitely doable".

Hey, I don't laugh at your ideas. :bigbaby:bigbaby

I knew I should have left this thread to the women :)

No seriously whenever people invite me to something and just give me a date a month away, I can't even begin to consider it until I know what day of the week it is. Many of us involved in churches do have a pretty structured weekly schedule. I know that I can go look it up...but I would have to really like you or really want to come :)

I'm not really laughing at you. I'm just laughing at how you have to spell everything out to people these days. I get really impatient with that.

Please do not read the Palin Heckler thread. :toofunny

That's the truth--and sometimes I need things spelled out for me!

I guess it goes both ways!

(it also depends on who speaking!)

I'm just playing around. And yes I did see that thread. Methinks someone has been doing some unventilated painting again.

Yep. Alot of the fonts that look like script writing aren't as clear. I like this one.
