Annual Testimony

10/16/2008

Tomorrow 10/17/2008 it has been 17 years since I had a near fatal car accident that ALMOST claimed my life had God not intervened. On October 17, 1991 I hit the rear of a utility vehicle painting lines in I-69 between Munice, Indiana and Marion, Indiana on my way to pick up my daughter and go to Ohio to visit the cemetery where my Father who had died that spring was buried. It had been my Father's birthday and I was going to be with her on this very sad day.

When it happened my best firiend, Vickie had been following and saw it happen and she still has PTSD symptoms about seeing it. The Physicians in the Trauma Unit thougth I was dying and allowing people to come in and tell me good-bye. When they found out I would live they didn't think I would ever walk again. When they saw I was going to walk they thougth never without leg braces.

God miraculously healed me and I walk without leg braces. God has allowed me to see my children grow up, my grandchildren born, and some of my goals and dreams accomplished. It is all because of his mercy and grace.

I give thanks, honor, and praise to God for my healing, as well as Him sparing my life.

Join with me in thanks.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Sis. Rhoni,

God had plans for you and would not allow you to die until HIS plans
were accomplished in YOU!! I believe HE has plans for each of us if we
will allow HIM to mold and make us into the vessels HE would have us be.

His TREASURE is stored up in these earthen vessels. The prophets hid
documents, etc. in clay containers in caves, etc. From time to time HE
allows our vessels to be turned upside down so some of His Treasure can
spill out on others. O, taste and see that the LORD is good!

Hugs,

Falla39

Thank you all for sharing in my thankfulness. I don't think I am all that but I know God spared me for a purpose higher than I can understand. I have felt guilty sometimes when I was frustrated, depressed, or angry about how things were going or not going in my life and didn't value the life that God has given me...but I do know he has a purpose...I just hope I am sensitive enough to grasp it.

Blessings, Rhoni

Praise the Lord for a great testimony. I pray you receive so many more blessings sister girl.
More than you are able to contain, and be full and running over. Thank you Jesus for sparing our sweet sister.

Thank you :) I always like to plan a "Happy Trip" on Oct 17 but I had to cancel my trip to Houston so I am brainstorming what I can do close to home. I took off work tomorrow. I like to celebrate life on Oct. 17.

Rhoni, thank you for sharing your story with us. That is an awesome testimony to GOD's power and love and compassion and healing.

I know just what you mean by the highlighted statement. A friend of mine lost her husband last week. She commented to me that she had talked to someone about why it was that God had healed Walt and not her husband (who, by the way, was 76 years old!). I assured her that it was NOT because we were any more special to God than she is or than Rob is. We don't always know why God does what God does. But we know that God has a plan and a purpose for whatever He does. I just want to be willing clay in His hands.

Amen Sis. Margie,

God is God and He does what he wants to do as it pleases Him. I am glad it pleased him to spare my life.

A friend and I went to see that movie...Fireproof. When it comes out I want to get several copies of it so I can lend it out to the couples that I counsel.

I was very impressed with the role the man's Father took in the life of his son and leading him to relationship with God and how to be loving and respectful to his wife. A Godly Father with spiritual influence can make or break a marriage.

I recommend this movie to any Apostolic couple who want the commitment to last within a Godly marriage. There were many valuable lessons to be learned from the movie.

Blessings, Rhoni
