The US Government has issued new coin dollars and something is strangely missing...

"IN GOD WE TRUST" is GONE!

Now the goal is to put these new dollars out of circulation by refusing them. If enough people refuse them, they will be put out.

Christ had no issue with money with Caesar's name upon it. Render unto Caesar. I fear that this is just more scare tactics and manipulation of our religious convictions to work us into a social activism frenzy.

Indeed...

It seems that we should focus more on ensuring that "In God We Trust" on a personal level rather than getting all riled up about a coin.

The battle for the "Christian" status of this nation isn't fought in Supreme Courts or in what our coinage states.

It is won or lost in our effectiveness to show Christ to this world in a manner that will prick their hearts and stir their souls.

Your source is not reliable.

It is on the edge.

I have several of the new coins and they all have it on the edge.

There are a few that didn't get stamped on the edge and if you want to refuse those just send them to me and I will reimburse you for the coin and the shipping, plus your time, envelope and gas to the post office and throw in an extra buck or two for your trouble. :friend (those are worth BIG bucks) :tease

Is this what you are referring to? I ave checked all the new money coming out and find that "In God we trust is on all of them. In fact; it will appear on one of the 2009 coins but did not appear on the 2007 coin.

I have always noticed that the god my society trusts is more or less the same almighty dollar that claims such. So this makes it easier to fold, stick in my back pocket, and sit on it.

I am very careful about verifying and, just the other day, the one thing I posted without taking the time to check it out was bogus.

No harm done... now more people know about the new dollar than did before. :)

My son has a lot of these coins and I just looked at it . In God we trust is infact on the edge of the coin ,however it is so small it is easy to miss.

I know you were teasing but just want to mention that Sarah Palin
said those clothes were not hers, but would either be returned or
given to a charity. Also that the RNC purchased the clothes for her
campaign from donations. She said she and Todd were fugal and she
shopped at a consignment shop and her shoes at another place, (can't
