Raised Taxes for those earning $250,000
 

First a confession - This won't change my vote.


Second confession - I am a social conservative. Abortion is a trump card for me.

I do however, have other concerns...

I have heard it both ways.... some say small biz earning over $250,000 gross under Barack will have a raised tax rate.

Others say that is a net figure...


which is it?

Not sure, but agree the rich need to be paying more taxes.

IT goes without saying... does it not? They are more successful and make more money - hence they will be taxed more.

The welfare recipient pays nothing... only collects, right?

I don't consider myself rich, but the last year we were in business we were 46% on every dollar at the end of the year. And in Wyoming we don't even have a state income tax.
The lazy bums that sit around need to get off their rears and get to work. Everybody should pay some taxes.

I watched my lazy brother get $8,000 back that year and he never paid anything in to the system. That is just not right.

Problem is, the poor will continue paying it because the rich just raise prices for the rest of us.

Sure, Obama is for change, but not the change we want or expect.

Come on...if you are a rich business and your taxes increase, how will you pay for it?

You raise your prices. Your income is the same and everyone else continues paying your bills.

You nailed it with this statement. There is a reason there is the old saying, "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer" You cannot successfully tax the rich to redistribute wealth, all it does is make the cost of things go up which eventually ends up hurting the poor the most and making them more dependent upon government. He who has the gold rules!

Have you ever seen a Socialist Nation with a strong middle class? No! There is the elites who live very well at the expense of the poor.

Baraks plan has nothing to do with anything except securing more power.

Which is it? Can't find anything definitive. lol

I have read:

Obama's income for tax purposes is "gross" income.

AND

It has to be "net" taxable income since they say 98% of all small businesses do not exceed 250K. The tax preparer goes on to say that in his 20 years of preparation he seldom sees a client who has under 250K gross income.
