The Biggest Issue for This Election

To me, the main issue for the 2008 election is the fact that whoever gets in office will more than likely appoint two or three Supreme Court Justices, who are then in for life, after this president moves on to something else. Obama would appoint liberal leftist justices, whereas McCain would be more inclined to appoint conservative ones. This one thing will shape our future and to me, it's the one most important issue to consider when voting.

People that have kids and grandkids need to think long and hard on this one Sherri.

They say it could change our nation for at least 40 years.

A lot is at stake this election

I will be very hard for McCain to appoint very conservative judges, because the Demo controlled Congress will "bork" every appointee that is even slightly conservative. But hopefully he can add to the conservatives that GWB appointed.

I feel likewise.

I agree. This is the most important issue. I still believe prayer works.. and McCain/Palin can pull it off.

Investor Business Daily/TIPP (the most accurate pollster of the 2004 election)

New Poll today puts McCain within 2 points of Obama and well inside the margin of error!

Woo hoo!! We showed a really powerful "non-partisan" video this morning and then had church prayer. It was great.

God answers prayers, If he can stop the sun and calm the waves he can control the polls. It only takes one saint's prayers to change the course of history. I believe.

Stephen, I've seen your wife and mother in law a couple times. Hope to meet you some day.

This is a post I made on another forum (Everyone's Apostolic) this past Saturday (November 1st)

I belong to a group called FGBMFI (Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International). This morning was our monthly breakfast meeting. Every one of us there took turns praying about this election.

Later this morning I attended a meeting of Aglow International. I am an advisory member of their board. Again, there was talk, concern, and prayer about this upcoming election.

On Wednesdays I attend a prayer meeting held in the parlor of an historic Presbyterian Church in Hamilton, Ohio. This group has been meeting and praying for 47 years. Membership is very diverse, from Oneness and Trinity Pentecostal, Charismatic, denominational, etc. The meeting starts in the morning, breaks for lunch, and then continues for a while in the afternoon. I was only there for a couple of hours but the main focus was on next Tuesday's election. Some in that group are nearing the end of a 40 day fast for this election.

I have received all kinds of emails about this election. I am also on a few Apostolic/Pentecostal forums where the election and possible results have been discussed.

Christians all over the United States are very concerned about this election. Steven Strang, founder of Charisma Magazine, a periodical with a wide Pentecostal/Charismatic readership, recently posted a message to his ‘blog and circulated an email entitled “Life As We Know It Will End if Obama is Elected.” Strang blasts presidential hopeful Barack Obama for his support of abortion and gay rights. Strang also predicts that, under Obama’s administration, “people who hate Christianity will be emboldened to attack our freedoms.” Strang also lists several liberal organizations who have offered support and endorsement to Obama’s campaign and concludes that “every one of them hates serious Christians and Zionist Jews.” He encourages Christians to “pray and work” for the defeat of Sen. Obama in next week’s election.

You ought to be praying that WHEN McCain/Palin wins that there won't be race riots and civil war in this country. That's the most important issue right now to be praying about.

Oh don't worry, God won't be needing to control the polls in this one because the FIX IS ALREADY IN.

Well, I've had some dealings with some Obama supporters and the picture is indeed not very pretty, but what really sets the stage for some serious backlash in the form of riots/civil unrest WHEN McCain wins is that all these mainstream media TV(ABC, NBC, CBS)polls have Obama anywhere from 9 to 13points ahead. This fake polling by itself coupled with a McCain victory even if there is NO election fraud is enough to light the violent wildfires of the Obama supporters.
