Holy smoke!

In Canada, pics are forbidden at polling stations except certain news organizations.

When Obama finally sets himself up as the Beast (w/Rev. Wright as his prophet) I'm going to turn you in. :)

They're absolutely forbidden here in the USA too, Ron. We even had to tell people they had to put their cell phones away while in the voting areas because so many cell phones also are camera phones. I suppose if you were only taking pics of yourself voting, it really shouldn't matter. But we still couldn't just let it by. As soon as we would do that, someone else would be making calls to the Board of Elections to whine and complain.

New to me, the only pictures I took were of me and my ballot.

I'd say if your poll workers didn't say anything about it, I wouldn't worry about it. Like I said, for my money - if you were only taking shots of your own ballot, I personally can't see why it would be a problem. Except that we'd for sure get some complainer who would make it their business to call the Board of Elections and rat on us for letting it go on. Geesh! You should hear some of the things people whine about at elections. Sometimes I just laugh at them.

I took my 4yr old when I voted and explained it to her...then her daddy took her when he went in the afternoon. She was SO excited the 2nd time b/c she "knew' what was going on...she had 3 "I VOTED" stickers that she would NOT take off, even slept in them...and insisted she wear one to school today.

It was a historic day for everyone, I thought it important to involve my child too.

Way to go Keith

A 4-year-old with an "I Voted" sticker? People will think she's a Democrat! :lol

I agree it is no big deal, I would just be worried about losing a vote because I broke the law.

To tell you the truth, I don't know what the penalty is.

Keith, no big deal to me.
