Yes yes....but Did YOU vote?
Everyone has an opinion, but did YOU vote?
|
Re: Yes yes....but Did YOU vote?
I voted in the early elections.
|
Re: Yes yes....but Did YOU vote?
One thing I cant stand is someone whining and come to find out they didnt even vote.
|
Re: Yes yes....but Did YOU vote?
I voted, so I can whine if I want to. :D
But I'm over it all now, I'd like to ignore everything for a while now, I'm tired of it. |
Re: Yes yes....but Did YOU vote?
Yes I voted! but like many of you, I am tired of hearing about it.... I followed up with the campaign until a couple of weeks ago... It's done... It's over... and I still have my espresso.... I am okay now! :) but tomorrow will be a different story because I may want to whine then... so, if ya's don't mind, I'll wait till then to do so! :) today, I am going to keep the news off! I'm burnt out by politics! :)

For your future reference, it's spelled KNEW not NEW. You have no right to complain since you thought it was such a waste of time and you didn't vote. By NOT VOTING you helped put him into office, smart guy. :crazy |
Re: Yes yes....but Did YOU vote?
I voted, after my three adult children drag me there! I wrote my vote in! I would have chosen Obama myself if I voted (between the two top-billed candidates that is), because he was smarter, more articulate, controlled, and clearly had some plans for the country. Put another way, it could (would) have certainly been worse with a Republican win. I’m not against either party per se, but change is desperately needed in this country, Obama was the only candidate of the top two that represented even a hope of change.

Re: Yes yes....but Did YOU vote?
I didn't vote. But that's ok because I'm included in Ferd's demographics of those who don't deserve to vote.
I really didn't vote because my ideals and beliefs are changing too quickly right now. I don't know who I would have voted for, and so I didn't. A few months ago, I'd have been overjoyed at how things turned out last night. |

Some of this is definitely deja vu. I seem to recall a lot of doomsday talk surrounding the Clinton Presidency. |

IF all Americans thought that it was God's will for Obama to win anyways and did not vote, it would be tied 0-0...
If all electoral votes did the same...who would be come president? |

But change is what you wanted and that is what you shall have. Plus you contradicted yourself. You dish the Republican party and then say your not against either party??? |
Re: Yes yes....but Did YOU vote?
I heard a commentator saying that the tax cuts the Republicans ALREADY gave to the middle class are set to expire at the end of this term...so taxes of the middle class will go up.
Obama says he won't raise taxes on the middle class...he does not have to if this is true for they will automatically go up anyways. But he seems to be claiming to tack on MORE taxes to families and individuals who make 250k or more...though several other estimates were tossed out like 200k. So if this "distribution of wealth" is true and to take place....generally then families that make 250k a year will be bringing home a lot less which will really affect them, to pad the pockets of those that make less....but clearly those that make a LOT more...many of whom are rich Democrats..already have more than enough. 250k a year is HARDLY above middle class. That is the problem. The result of such ideas in my view eventually create a two class system. The lower middle class and the uber rich. There was a two class system in Communist Russia too. |
