There were at least two threads about preachers prophesying that McCain / Palin would win. I looked for them and wouldn't you know it, they are no where to be found. (at least by me) Maybe you can find them keith.

Sarah Palin is a modern day Esther! McCain will release Michelle Obama's "whitey" video. Obama's birth cerificate will prevent him from winning! on and on and on...

Maybe you should ask those "prophets" directly, instead of asking the rest of us.

I don't recall reading anyone prophesying McCain would win.????

This thread was puzzling me as well... pretty much every "prophecy" I saw was that Obama would win...

I read many posts about people hoping McCain would win.

I do remember a few "prophecy" posts, but if I'm not mistaken, those were posted fairly early in the "two candidate" race-- the latest posts like that were right around the unveiling of Palin, the disloyal Republican VP candidate.

Hope and Prophecy are two different things.

Re: False Prophets

For months I "predicted" Hillary Clinton would be our next President. I did not "prophesy" it. I thought she would win the Democratic nomination and would defeat the Republican candidate. Obviously, I was wrong. But that was a prediction/guess not a prophecy. I did not think that God told me that Ms. Clinton would win, that was just my feeling/fear.

Sam when I started this thread I was talking about those that said God showed them that McCain/Palin would win. There were several of these posts where the poster was copying and pasting what some preachers said. I don't think any of the posters of this site made such a statement.
When I heard Obama speak at 2004 convention I told my wife he would be the next President but for sure God did not show me.

I'm trying to remember if I posted any "prophecy" material on this forum from groups like the Elijah List or not. If I did, I hope I put a disclaimer with it that it was not my prophecy but just something I was posting and time would reveal if it was accurate or not.

Find anything (with or without a disclaimer)?

I will never forget the day I was sitting with two penticostal ministers at lunch and had a very strong feeling that Obama was going to be the next president. Well I don't claim to be a prophet but the feeling I felt was from God not influenced by news media. Turns out here we go we all better hold on.

Look now Brother Ellis.

Deu 18:20-22

"But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him."

In Jesus name

Is this where it has all come down to?

So they are never really prophecy, they are just educated guesses that you post from preachers in the Charismatic ranks?

Did Dutch Sheets get his seer stone and top hat taken away yet? :heeheehee
