Backstabbing in McCain camp...

FOX reports that there was "TREMENDOUS" backstabbing and "MAJOR" infighting in the McCain campaign between McCain's people and Palins people. They say one person was fired by one side of the camp last week and McCain overturned it and re-hired the person in order to cover it up and keep it quiet.

Sounds like McCain isn't that good of a leader. Sounds like the esprit de corp in his campaign was very low. Makes you wonder what his administration would have been like. Reminds me of Hilary's camp. Perhaps a change was in order.

MSNBC reports that Palin met with senior McCain advisors in her hotel room wearing nothing but a towel. I wonder how the 'holiness' folks would react to 'our girl' doing that? I guess she really did need a new wardrobe.

Ya know, the more I learn about Sarah the more of a diva I think she is.

Well you have your change now. So enjoy it. And you do not have to think on Palin anymore ... unless of course you reside in Alaska. Move on!:crazy

If the towel story is true, not smart of her to do such. If true, stupid for members of the losing side to cannibalize each other simply because they feel they have nothing to lose and blab inside info that need not be disclosed. Coming from MSNBC, the info has to be suspect. They are gloating so bad right now, Olbermann's head might explode. Classy bunch those MSNBC folks.

True or not, how hypocritical to even bring it up. At least she wasn't in the Oval Office fornicating with a 21 year old young man. Oh, I forgot, sex in the White House is a personal private issue, but wearing a towel in front of staff members in a hotel during a meeting is really something of substance.

HAHA. Ur funny. And the 'fair and balanced' FOX News did any better? They took their ball and went home and put their B team on the air less than two hours after the election was called. Crybabies.

Are you implying that I voted for O? I didn't. Stop the 'us vs. them' garbage and man up to the facts.

Palin is a diva and puts herself out there as some sort of conservative evangelical but then romps around in a towel in front of men other than her husband. Come to think of it, I wonder if Todd was there? Ya'll know good and well that if O did this you'd be all over it like white on rice and it'd be 'news'.

Oh, but they and their AFF fans crow about how 'fair' and 'balanced' they are in their reporting. A credible news org doesn't abandon a historic event like that in less than two hours. It was shameless and quite revealing of their partisan bent.

I don't think Sarah Palin is going away. I fully expect that Ted Stevens will not make it back to the Senate. Either McConnell and the rest of the Republican senate leadership will throw him out or the Senate as a whole will.

When that seat comes open from the illustrious state of Alaska, guess who'll be back in the news with a big decision to make on appointing a new Senator from Alaska? You got it! None other than the Wasilla wonder herself, and depending on how Alaska state law is structured, I bet she'll find a way to get herself the seat. I really believe she could end up in Ted Steven's seat after the Republican knife fight is over.

Just heard the incredible Sarah Palin on TV already distancing herself from the McCain campaign and attacking those who think she had a negative affect on the campaign.

NEWSWEEK: At the GOP convention in St. Paul, Palin was completely unfazed by the boys' club fraternity she had just joined. One night, Steve Schmidt and Mark Salter went to her hotel room to brief her. After a minute, Palin sailed into the room wearing nothing but a towel, with another on her wet hair. She told them to chat with her laconic husband, Todd. "I'll be just a minute," she said.

She and McCain were icy cold to each other on the stage last night. His mistake was picking someone whom he'd only met once. No reason to be really surprised at the lack of chemistry between the two.

I can't wait for all of the details to come out on what people like Mark Salter and Nicole Wallace really thought about Sarah Palin. I'm pretty certain that the "she's a whack job" comment that was attributed to a senior McCain advisor was Nicole Wallace. Nicole's been very graceful and didn't defend herself at all through this stuff and I hope she talks soon. I bet the Sarah Palin story will be a great one when we get all of the details.
