POA Baptized 31 People This Morning!

I am watching The Pentecostals of Alexandria's Sunday night service on the web right now and Anthony just announced that they baptized 31 people this morning!

That is wonderful news.

We baptized 3 this morning. There were supposed to be 5 - not sure what happened to the other 2. Three ladies were baptized.

One was a beautiful black girl from Georgia.

One lady from El Salvador.

The other lady from Jamaica!

That is a great report Felicity. Perhaps the other two got lost and ended up at the UPC church!

LOL!

Actually we have some people coming from one of the UP churches in town. One of them is a young mother with children. I haven't met her yet.

Once a month following our service the Filipinos in our church host a Filipino Fellowship Dinner. The food is always great.

It's an opportunity for them to fellowship together and an opportunity for us all to get to know one another better. At lunch today we sat with another brand new family to our church. Mom and Dad and two children who arrived here from Mauritius just 3 weeks ago. Apparently they got saved in a Pentecostal church in Mauritius and so far have decided to make our church their home church.

We've had a number of new families start coming over the past few months. It's just been amazing! And we need younger couples with children! So we're thankful!

It's a shame that great reports like this get lost in the shuffle of 'other' discussion...
