Your Favorite Hamburger or Hamburger Recipe

I love hamburgers. Many different types, ways, topping, etc. Not sure anyone else shares my passion. I started this thread as a fun little thing. What is the best burger you have ever had, whether homemade or restaurant? Also do you all have any good burger recipes? I do like trying new things like burgers stuffed with the cheese inside or something like that.

I hope that I get some good 'feed back' I am always looking for new ways of making an old American favorite.

I love hamburgers! I like mine very traditional- with home grown tomatoes, purple onion and lettuce, mayo and mustard. I season my meat with garlic, onion, salt and pepper.

I have had a hamburger with a good quality blue cheese on it and that is good.

I am not too big of a Blue Cheese fan, but it is ok.

I like out of the bos things. Spicy ones too

I have lots of favorites. Our standard for hamburgers is mix with lots of garlic, ketchup, onion salt, hickory smoke, worchestershire and pepper to taste. Grill on barbecue grill. Top with melted cheddar cheese (and veggies per person's taste.)

Another way to make them is to top with mozzarella or muenster and then put capers on top.

Grilled on the BBQ, then topped with A-1, pepper jack cheese, onion rings, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, guacamole, and bacon.

Hamburgers are top of my food list.

Jeff grills ours and brushes them with olive oil, thyme, fresh garlic, kosher salt and coarse pepper. He and the kids eat theirs with cheese and veggies, ketchup, mayo and mustard. I like mine with mayo, blue cheese and grilled onions.

Now I am hungry...hmmm got bacon, hamburger, buns, tomatoes, guacamole, no onion rings or A-1...might be time to fire up the grill.

Generally speaking, if it is not Angus Beef, I get a sick gut feeling eating hamburger.

Technically, we eat venison. But we do a 2/3 venison to 1/3 hamburger mix and it tastes very good.

Blume is burger snob everyone...lol.

I like Angus too, but truth is IMO if it seasoned right then it ain't no big thing.

This occurs whether it is seasoned or not. Regular hamburger in ANYTHING makes me feel sick. Never used to be like that. Getting too old I guess. I love the taste, but my stomach rebukes me every time. lol

Confirmed--burger snob...LOL I know what you mean though

I thank the Lord for the uprising of the Angus Beef burger! Good taste and no sick feeling. :D

Re: Your Favorite Hamburger or Hamburger Recipe

But aside from requiring Angus Beef, I like plain old cheese, bacon, mustard and Ketchup. Put some fried fresh mushrooms and bbq sauce, and that makes it better. No veggies, just meat all the way. Except for mushrooms!

I care not for onions, lettuce, tomatoes and salad dressing sauce. lol

I love some good grilled onions on mine. I think if I were to list mine it would be tough. I like many different kinds. I love it with bbq sauce, bacon, green chiles and pepper jack cheese. Then I love them with A1 or Heinz 57 and all the fixings. I love burgers!

97% lean... grilled only- topped with A1 and sauteed onions & peppers (no bread) -- served with a salad.

Tina went all healthy on us. It ain't a true burger without bread! Without bread it is a Hamburger steak! Geesh. It sounds good though!

Two medium patties cooked on my grille.

With a Fried Egg medium and couple of slices of Bacon.

When I really want to spice it up.

I will add a spoon of Sour Cream and dab of Chille.

Sharp Chedder cheese if you want.

I call this the "Elvis Pressley Burger".

I had one with a Fried egg on it at Red Robin once. It was pretty good.

There used to be a restaurant here in Toledo that would smother your burger in sliced green olives. Mmmmmmmmmmmm

Tina also lost 22 lbs by leaving off bread & desserts. I think I'll keep eating healthy! :D
