What Do You Think?

I received the following email...

Scott Walkington experienced a life after death experience. We have talked with him on several occasions and he spoke at our church. When he speaks, he is very articulate and he gives details that would be difficult to relate if this experience had not been real. Jesus gave Scott seven events that were to happen before the rapture.(1st Thes. 4:13-17; 5:1-4.)

The following is Scott's thoughts on the past election. The fulfillment of the following will be the verification of whether Scott had a dream or his life after death experience was real. Whatever happens, this is definitely a time for Christians to pray for our families and our nation.
Joyce

Dear friends in Christ,

Before I start, let me make this statement ... I'm just a messenger, nothing more, nothing less.

Many of you asked in the past year or so who might be elected the next president, based on the Seven Signs that Jesus gave me in my heaven experience. And I answered that Obama's campaign seemed to match many of the issues that Jesus promised in this next candidate. I would have liked to shared this prophecy back then, but I did not want it to look like a political advertisement. So I chose to write about this AFTER the election.

I can also tell you that this presidential election based on my heaven experience is prophecy being fulfilled. We're just one more milestone closer to the rapture.

Just remember...except for local elections, last Tuesday's election was the LAST presidential election we will ever experience before the rapture. There will be no more! Isn't that exciting?

Here is what's yet to happen.

1. Coming in January (inaugeration) ... Due to a "problem", Obama will NOT be sworn in as the next president. He will never take that office. Why? I don't know. This is the missing piece to the puzzle. We must wait in anticipation to see whatever this "problem" might be.

2. Bush will be forced to extend his presidential term until this "problem" can be resolved. Remember, Jesus told me, "The president you know right now (meaning Bush) will be the last president you will know at the time of the rapture."

3. Violence will erupt within our nation due to this "problem". What might this be? Rioting? Demonstrations? Terrorism? We will wait and see.

4. Jesus told me, "Your troops will be brought home from around the world, but this does not mean peace." Then my minister, Rev. John Rice, (in heaven) said, "When this happens, stay off the airplanes, the trains and the interstate highways. If you must cross a river, use a less traveled bridge or a ferry. When driving, use as many backroads as possible." Then Jesus told me, "Your nation will need all the help it can get to defend itself."

5. World War III will erupt. All the nations will turn against this nation, blaming Bush for this "problem", but by the time the world realizes that Bush was not to blame, it will be too late.

6. Missiles will be dropped on cities on the east coast, then the west coast, making 9/11 look very minimal.

7. Then by the time we see missiles and fighter jets flying above us in all directions right here at home and you feel like it can't get any worse than this, that's when you know the rapture is about to take place.

Our nation will lose this war badly. It will be the end of the United States. At this time the one world government and the antichrist will take over.

All these things I learned from my heaven experience. Jesus also told me, "These are all in God's plan. As horrible as these events may seem, these events must happen in order for the rapture to take place. But you must fear not, for as you see these things happen, you must realize these are merely milestones as we get closer to the rapture. Just do your works as normally as you possibly can. Then when this time comes, I will call you and everyone else on My list, in the twinkle of My eye, just that fast."

Let me finish by saying, I'm just a messenger, nothing more, nothing less.

God bless,
Scott

I find it interesting...

Not convincing and not overly "fake" feeling either.

I say that when Inauguration day comes and goes we will see who is in the White House and go from there. :)

I believe the NT example was one where God killed those he wanted killed. We will let him do the deed if he wants it done.

The 'problem', according to the blogosphere, is that Obama's birth cert has been requested for review by the Supreme Court and it'll prove to be fake and he'll be denied the Presidency. This in turn will cause massive race riots across the country and it'll snowball into all the other stuff he was talking about.

Re: What Do You Think?

This one is easy. Lets wait until Jan. 20 and we shall see wont we?

Now, lets deal with some facts.

First of all, if there was a problem that prevented the President Elect from taking office on Jan 20, then the constitution declairs that the sitting Vice President serves as President until the crisis is over.

So on that fact alone, I seriously doubt this email is of any more value than a football bat.

I think your friend is off the mark. However, on January 20, we will know wont we?

of course I fully expect an email on Jan. 21 revising and extending the remarks to explain the mistake the human made and it is actually Barak Obama not GWB who will be the last president, and that the events listed here will occur in either 2012 or 2016 and that BO wont leave office and that will keep everyone settled down and keep your friend on the speaking circut for another 4 to 8 years.

I've written about this in the election selection.

even if that happened, which it wont...

GWB would not continue as president. He would be out and Dick Cheney would be the acting president until the crisis was over.

If Barak Obama were deemed unable to serve before the Jan. 4 Electoral College vote, then the Electors could vote for whom ever they wanted. They could elect Joe Biden President, or YOU for that matter. Likely they would elect a democrat because the majority of Electors are democrats. I would theorize it would either be Biden or Hillary. However the Electors could be split and then it would be possible that McCain would be elected.

If Obama was deemed unable to serve after Jan.4 then in all likely hood Joe Biden would be elevated based on the Constitutional succession rules. However that is somewhat unclear (if I understand correctly) and thus the Supreme Court would be involved giving congress direction on how to solve the problem.

Cheney would be acting President in the meantime and the new Congress (dominated by democrats in both houses) would settle the succession issue.

No matter what GWB is OUT.

Some would say Cheney has been acting president for the last 8 years! LOL!

But really the constitution states that the sitting VP acts as president after Jan. 20 until any successionary crisis is resolved.

I will take this warning seriously if he is correct about President elect Obama not being sworn in.

When he is proven wrong, does the New Testament provide for "stoning to death" false prophets? As far I can recall, it doesn't-- maybe someone else has an answer.

We should ready ourselves any way, but because of the Word of God-- not necessarily because of this email.

LOL! There are a lot of folk that agree with that.... personally I would like to see Cheney as acting president for a month or two just because of the convulsions it would cause the hardleft, the liberal Media and the Jon Stewarts and Kieth Overbites or the world!

but really it would only last so long as it would take to constitutionally correct the problem which I suspect would be done within a few months.

let me go back and dig up some info on this from the source.

Why 2012?

Ferd 11-18-2008 12:27 PM

Re: What Do You Think?

Amendment XX (pay attention to section 3) ....hmmmm. now I am working without a net. it seems that in the even that the electoral college doesnt pick either a pres. or VP, then congress just decides. I could have sworn that the VP acts as President until that decision is made.

Amendment XX
Section 1. The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin.

Section 2. The Congress shall assemble at least once in every year, and such meeting shall begin at noon on the 3d day of January, unless they shall by law appoint a different day.

Section 3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.

Section 4. The Congress may by law provide for the case of the death of any of the persons from whom the House of Representatives may choose a President whenever the right of choice shall have devolved upon them, and for the case of the death of any of the persons from whom the Senate may choose a Vice President whenever the right of choice shall have devolved upon them.

Section 5. Sections 1 and 2 shall take effect on the 15th day of October following the ratification of this article.

Section 6. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several states within seven years from the date of its submission.

No sir... not in the least.

But there are certain elements on this forum that it is unwise to share things with even if you consider them only a dream.

They seem to want to tear down anything they see that doesn't fit their very tiny paradigm even if it is being offered just for discussion sake.

Yes, I agree, but they don't make up the majority of those who post.
Scott said that he didn't want to reveal who was going to be president due to he not wanting to look like he was giving a political advertisement?

So he chose to inform the public about his revelation after the election?

That just sounds too bogus, and just another doomsdayer presenting his foolishness to bring publicity to himself.

Would your dream also be along the lines of Doomday prophecy?
