No, I am just a partner, working with a national Pastor/Apostle to help fulfill a role.

My parents sponser an Indian Apostle/Pastor there in India. What is your guy's name?

By the way, how is the exchange rate there now? When I went it was like 33 rupies for a dollar.

Great, another word of WOE! Can't you speak a word of life over us.

Well part of it was we tried to do so much in to little of time (trip to London then straight to India), then I had reactions to medication (Lariam), plus the spice was bad this time around. I will be taking a gallon of Pepto this time around and a large bottle of Pepcid AC.

I don't want to mention his full name as Nationalists Hindus monitor sites and will target Christians in India right now. Intials JP

I think Mark just has issues with anyone taking a risk or doing anything out of the ordinary.

He hates germs and dirty places. For the most part Indian is very primitive in many ways, but one of the most fascinating places ever!

I think Mark has done a lot of traveling-and knows how weary it can be as well.

I don't do well with major time zone changes. If I ever go overseas again, I will have to go a day early and make sure I have recovery time when I get home.

Mark could it because you are aging???......j/k

Try skipping time zones 2x in week going from the US to London and then to India all with major time zone changes.

Honestly though Mark would you ever go to India???

well thanks. the first time I went overseas was in '97. I felt terrible the first 2 days. I was just dragging around.

I wouldn't go anywhere the water wasn't safe, where there are high threats of terrorism, or were the food is not safe to eat.

I know a pastor from CA. who went to Thaland and came home sick with a stomach virus for 3 years. He got a worm from the food and it about tore his intestines up.

You can not eat raw food in places llike that-and the water is a sure no-no.

We drink bottled water, and we eat nothing that is not hot and cooked. The spicy thing is what got to me, but other than that I was fine.

I know the time zone thing is major KILLER! Then your host wants to drag you around kingdom come, when you rather be in bed asleep.

But there is nothing like India-the smells and the noise-the busy-ness plus all the colorful garments!

I can't wait!

Like I said, I am going more prepared (rest) plus David will not be going, will not be taking Lariam and taking the precautions regarding spicy food.

The good news is that most of the food we eat is Vegetarian, the spice in the food hurts your stomach, but also kills most germs. Of course the water is of concern, so we only drink bottle water.

This about the Kingdom and the advancement thereof. I had one of the most dearest encounters with the Lord Jesus in India. He revealed himself and his deep love for me there, when I needed it the most.

Man, I wish I was going with you guys!!! Be sure to ask for Malarone instead of the Lariam. I took it this last time, and it's so much easier on your system, even though you have to remember to take it every day.

I always go to Target and load up on disposable toilet covers and little rolls of Charmin! Plus Charmin wipes. I have a whole huge baggie of toilet things. LOL! Puts a whole new meaning to "toiletries".

Jeanie or Keith, please PM me your address. I have a card to send.:friend

I also ask my doctor for a prescription for antibiotics, Phenegran (sp.), and Lomotil. Just in case!

Tell me when you get ready to buy plane tickets, and I will send you an offering.

Eddie has a burden for Hawaii. Anything more third-world than that is a struggle for him, even though he does go when God says "go".

Sherri India would greatly benefit from Eddie's & your ministry! They are progressive in many ways but I think they would greatly be blessed by your insight and wisdom.

I don't think they have heard anyone quite like Eddie before. That would be so awesome for those pastors to hear him sometime!
